Rambal Cochet debuts on Alzaya with a Vinyl-Only EP. Celebrating the interconnected strands of head-tripping hypnotic sounds, new age electronica and early/late 90s progressive house/trance, Rambal Cochet arrives on this only vinyl EP, built to elevate the dance floors. 

Since emerging in the scene, Rambal Cochet has ably demonstrated his instinct for different approaches, whether exploring expansive sonic palettes or holding down stages where he has performed. This DJ, producer and versatile music curator, throughout his career, turned his capable hand into a truly immersive listening experience. 

Dolphin's Dance is an uplifting music journey with a flavour of the good old prog sound and a dreamy atmosphere. Volantis & Nicodemo elaborated on the title track stylishly and thoughtfully. The narrative flow in Twisted Reality and Virtual Nightmare uses contrasting ecosystems to glide through distinctive spaces, unfolding with darker vibes infused with style sounds, as in Yello's 90's album "Pocket Universe". The effect is sometimes nostalgic, calling to mind pulsating rhythms, bass lines, and hypnotic melodies. 

Rambal Cochet shows again an exceptional talent for producing high-level dance music. An exquisite 4 rhythmic and stimulating club jams to be savoured and absorbed in ALZ05.

A popular face in Manchesters underground rave scene, @aidenfrancis is quickly becoming one of the city’s hottest exports. His love of upbeat, euphoric, and progressive music have given his productions a certain energy that has caught the eye of labels such as @gestaltlabel, @houseum, @dualitytrax, and @magiccarpetrecords to name a few.

As a DJ, he has embedded himself into Manchesters vibrant queer rave scene. After finding inspiration from attending events such as @high-hoops and Kiss Me Again, Aiden became addicted to the nightlife scene. Since then, his infectious energy behind the decks have led him to play for those very events including others throughout the UK and beyond. Aiden’s rise through dance music has saw him feature on lineups alongside Eris Drew, Lis Sarroca, and Matisa. His gig resume is equally as impressive. This year alone he has played at The DBA (Manchester), Renate (Berlin), PRST (Vienna), and Nexus (Paris).

When describing his sound, he tells //SNCMAG: “Its constantly evolving, but I would describe it as spacey, fun, and most importantly, PROGGY!” For his //SNCSOUNDS mix, Aiden provides a vibe that seems current yet nostalgic with its 90s trance inspired aesthetic. “I wanted to showcase some of the tunes that I’ve been playing in most of my sets as of late. I’ve also included an unreleased tune or two for my own good measure.”
