The Swiss duo Sous Sol is on a roll with recent production work for Hive Audio, Re:FreshYourMind, Cyclic Records and Bondage Music. 

Based in Luzern, Lukas Meyer and Teo Fionom began their journey together in 2011 and now they are well established in the local scene and making serious waves across Europe.

Here at the WH Towers we immediately fell in love with their deep, dreamy and crispy sound of the original executed to perfection. We are are not afraid to describe this one of our best releases for quite some time. 

The original is backed up by a quality remix from Bondage Music owners Pornbugs from Germany. They turn in a slightly tougher version but stay loyal to the original. We have been fans of both their own productions and their label for years so it's great to have them on board. 

Beatport release: 5th September. Official release: 19th September.

So happy to have him back. After his latest set under his old alias "Leger" from Latz & Leger, he is now making music under his new name Åres but still with the old known power and energy. Already playing some shows through the main city of techno he is destroying the German dance floors in Frankfurt. Obviously one of those guys you should definitely keep an eye on. You'll probably hear a lot from him in the near future. But first he's here. Loud, heavy and with a lot of vibes.

Coming in fresh for the summer season with their third outing on Hive Audio is the Swiss duo named Sous Sol with a follow up to their massive „Taonga EP“. Bringing forth two new original tracks and a remix by Romanian electronic music staple Mihai Popoviciu, their new release the „Dizzy Rhythm EP“, fully lives up the pairings high quality standards and is soon to be heard on a dancefloor near you.

Opening with the title track „Dizzy Rhythm“ Sous Sol are employing a deep, tribalistic vibe for a start,  fusing intricate, complex percussion lines with a seductive TechHouse groove and masterly crafted synth arrangements bringing forth a well balanced amount of mystique and drive ideal for intimate late settings as well as epic moments throughout large scale sunrise sessions.

On a remix tip for „Dizzy Rhythm“ is no-one less than Mihai Popoviciu. The Romanian Techno legend who's left a trail of releases on high quality labels like International Deejay Gigolo, Poker Flat Recordings, Bedrock Records and many more over the years turns towards a more dancefloor focused  approach in his rework, strips things down a little, adds quite a distinct, stoic hi-hat whilst staying true to a certain, dreamlike and well trance inducing feel for an ultimate lift-off.

Finally „Hazy Vision“ sees Sous Sol on a well funky tip, once again bringing forth masterly crafted percussion vibes alongside a classic uplifting pad motif harking back to a mid-90s House vibe accompanied by large scale build-ups and the duos trademark mysticism, all falling into place to channel dancefloor energies towards a huge, and surely inevitable, climax.

Artist Biography:
- made her way through the small but for sure vibrant scene in Zurich better known as Antja. To quote herself, she defines her taste and the music she plays as; “combined influences of minimal - house - micro house, spiced up with a hint of dub”.
Trough the past four years, from her first gig in the Zurich best known clubs, such as Hive Club, Friedas Büxe, Supermarket and Revier, she also spread out her own style to the neighbor cities and clubs such as Uferlos in Luzern, Folklor - Lausanne, La Coupole - Biel, Wilde Renate and Sisyphos Berlin. Even across the border the famous Club Harry Klein in Munich Germany awarded her as the winner from a only Femal DJ contest with a gig at their absolutely unique venue. And so the journey continues, the rave community has so much to offer. Antja can’t wait to spread love through her music

Toman delivers a three track EP, consisting of his signature stripped backed production, fused with his dynamic bubbling housey basslines, over his high quality complex percussive edge. ‘Feel For You’ kicks things off with an energetic feel and is a more upfront track, while ‘Guarulhos’ tones things down with a floaty, deeper feel.
