Marc Primo is a Los Angeles native who turned his passion and talent into an incredibly successful career in the fine arts. Even as a child, Primo showed great potential in his acting and musical abilities. Through his charming and friendly personality and his mature attitude he developed a strong connection to many people in the Broadway industry, paving the way for him to succeed. He was accepted to Yale University in 1986 and graduated in 1990 with a bachelor’s of fine arts in theater and in music composition. He composed his first score for a musical when he was just 20 years old. He later graduated from NYU with a masters of fine arts in theater. Having both a broad connection network and a highly distinguished education, Primo began to pursue his various passions, leading him to be cast in his first major motion picture as John Black in the movie Harvey. His talent was widely recognized and he quickly began claiming more acting, directing, and composing credits. In addition to his professional arts skills, Primo is also known for his philanthropic endeavors, most notably the non-profit Coming Home, which he founded in 2004 and served as Executive Director for until 2008. This organization focuses on supporting homeless and disabled veterans and Primo is still their primary spokesperson. Primo’s most recent endeavors include a solo album of original compositions to be released next May as well as a the film Starry Night in which Primo is writing, directing and starring as the late artist Vincent Van Gogh. Both the album and the film are expected to be nominated for many awards.
