I've been obsessed with this darker version of the song, (the alt version from the Batman soundtrack and then used on the Watchmen soundtrack.)

The main vocals and guitar were recorded live, then I went in later and added a quick backup vocal, outro, and percussion on my guitar as other tracks, then mixed it back in with the video.  This is my first shot at mixing video and audio recorded in this way. A quick test on how it'd work. I used Reaper to record audio, Movie maker to sync them.

I'm in D-standard tuning. D-G-C-F-A-d I think. The chords I'm playing in this tuning are:

I do a little finger fill part on the C to Gm that follows the vocal melody. 

At the very end, the progression of the outro uses the entire range of my guitar. I start on fret 20 on my highest string and walk it down from there. I'l try to transcribe it:
