The second annual Community Manchester party tribute to Phil Asher featuring the DJs wo were his closest friends & fellow music conoisseurs viz The Mighty Zaf who opens up then it's Craig Smith, then Afronaut with Irfan Rainy, Craig Smith & Zaf finish off the last half hour. It was a beautiful super authentic underground music event with the right crowd too. Enjoy.

This is a radio documentary I hosted in 2000 when we were promoting The Loft compilations David and I produced for Nuphonic. It features interviews with David, Alex Rosner and Francois K and of course, some great Loft classics. The doc was broadcast on XFM and was produced by my friend Chris Menist. I am somewhat embarrassed by my old presenting style (LOL!) but hey it was twenty years ago and I hope I have progressed since then ;). In any case, it's wonderful to hear David's voice and his own words and I hope you will enjoy this as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Loft. Love Saves the Day! For us it's the least Christmas feeling Christmas this year, we are banned from either heading to Australia or Germany, there is no tree, no Christmas shopping, no snow. Its far from bad. We are healthy and happy. Tomorrow we'll have friends over and stay in and enjoy what we have. 
However I felt this urge to last minute put together my favourite gospel cuts to listen to over the holidays. The common dominator being it's Gospel and it's dope. I've mainly stayed away from trying to mix any of these as I didnt wanna mess up and othwerwise would have needed much more time to prepare to find the perfect spots etc.
Yesterday when I was putting this together I had some chin dropping moments of beauty and I hope some of you will appreaciate this music as much as I do myself.
