Luce is a DJ and electronic music producer born in 2002 in the south of Italy.
Her musical roots run deep, playing the guitar and singing psychedelic rock in her younger days.
Growing up, she decided to channel this passion towards electronic music and approached the craft of music production. In 2021, she won an “Adam Audio” scholarship which allowed her to study and sharpen her skills at SAE Institute in Milan. 
Lately, Luce began to play her first gigs, sharing the booth with local and international artists.
She’s now focusing on her first EP, heavily influenced by hypnotic techno with cavernous percussions, mental grooves and spectral ambiences

In 2024, Rotterdam's Black Cadmium debuts on Omndisc with a dark, soulful, and abstract journey to the galaxy. Their creation draws inspiration from an old-school blend of broken soul, techno, breakbeat, and house, seasoned with their unique 90’s flavor. The six-track EP kicks off with "Deepwatered," an ambient track propelling listeners in and out of space. Danny Daze delivers a 4x4 techno remix, followed by "What Have We Become," a broken yet soulful track at the emotional and raw crossroads. The title track, "Engkanto," narrates an electro-minded story of musical spirits manifesting in physical form with enchanting abilities. "When We Began" serves as an ode to their first nightlife encounter, challenging the definitions of deep house and tech, perfect for sweaty basement peak moments. "Construction (of a new world)" emerged during lockdown, starting with an abstract, offbeat, ambient sound akin to a piling machine. The bass's eeriness guides you through a heavy breakbeat, symbolizing dystopian times. We appreciate your journey alongside them.

PM+ is very happy to welcome back techno misfit Emily Jeanne for a second round of precision club incisions which revel in the kind of squirming sound design that make our synapses stand on end. 

‘Liquid Crystal’ maintains the seductive poise and restrained intensity of Jeanne’s prior outing on our humble label, keeping a firm grip on the top-line energy and letting the insistent purr of the bass guide you towards total soundsystem hypnosis. The trick is in the mid-range, where the detail writhes and squirms its way through this meditative chamber of rhythm science crafted by one of modern techno’s most startling voices. 

The focus on transcendental fundamentals maintains on ‘Lagune’, which threads acoustic and synthetic percussion together into one densely knitted fabric designed to cloak the mind. Resonant overtones bleed out into looming atmospherics, and Jeanne holds down an unrelenting focus on the roll and rumble of the beat, making this a vital soundsystem asset for anyone unsatisfied with the concept of the one-dimensional ‘DJ tool’.
