Hotel Madrid is a former former hotel in the Calle de Carretas, Madrid. It's just around the corner from the famous luthier Jose Ramirez.

To me 'Hotel Madrid' is a clear 'sign of the times'.  After the hotel had closed it became the center of the spontaneous 15-M Movement, an urban resistance movement in Spain in the early days of the crisis in 2011 and part of the 'indignados' (the outraged). After evacuation the building was sealed,  awaiting its next destination...
