The very last hours are coming soon. My heart bumbs and i feel strange ... thinking about how the last hours will be. Dance and cry?! I always tell people, "don´t worry, something new will come". But how about myself? Can i stand this moment? Nothing stays, all flows. Music is the way, so here is my mix. Basmati re-releases "Lava Lava" by John Spring, a club-hit from 2007 originally released on Sub Static, which received the attention of Sven Väth who picked it for his annual mix CD "The Sound Of The Eighth Season".

Over the last years Basmati owner Gabriel Ananda and his friend Marcel Janovsky teamed up back2back for numerous DJ gigs and the track became a classic in their sets. While the guys were touring the idea was born to do remixes and re-release "Lava Lava" on Basmati. The result is a remix by Falko Brocksieper from Sub Static who remixed the track to his typical style. Gabriel and Marcel deliver their mix with lot´s of "plug-in passion" and playful parts.

PollerWiesen is the mother of all Cologne openair-partys, startet 1993 by a handful of people with non-commercial approach. Nowdays it is the biggest rave around in NRW and all international key-figures play there.

January 2014 a dvd-documentation has been produced and released by Achim Rütt (Artigfilm) and i´ve played a special classic set at the film-premiere party in Cologne. It was much fun doing the journey with all the people who have the same history as i had - more than 20 years Techno. The party went really really crazy and the old rave-feeling was back! Thanks to Peiki, Oli and the PollerWiesen-Team.

This 2 hours set is an exclusive set for this event.

Etwas verspätet, hier noch ein großes DANKE an alle die unsere DEEPERSUN 2012 im Schrebergarten am vergangenen Sonntag zu einem ganz besonderen Erlebnis gemacht haben. Selten habe ich derart viele Anfragen nach einem Mitschnitt bekommen. Hier also ein 100 Minuten-Ausschnitt meines Sets vom Abend. Vorerst möchte ich danach keine Sets mehr hoch laden. Mir ist lieber Ihr kommt zu unseren Partys und erlebt alles dort. Die Sets leben von dem Moment, von den Leuten die dabei sind, von der Luft zwischen Euch und den Lautsprechern und von der Erinnerung die man an eine Party hat.  Daher, kommt einfach beim nächsten Mal wieder zu unseren Partys und hört/kauft/ladet/kopiert Euch lieber richtige Künstleralben anstatt DJ Sets zuhause anzuhören. Diese Aufnahme hier kann mitnichten das wiedergeben was am Sonntag im Garten gelaufen ist. Ende Juli sind wir mit Treibstoff wieder dort!

More than a year after its release, we have the privilege to experience again a masterpiece reworked by two members of Treibstoff, Marcel Janovsky, and Till Krüger. Janovsky, sticking to his roots, delivers a minimal techno version with just enough of the original that creates a suspenseful groove that will leave the floor in a frenzy. Till Krüger's remix is unmistakably "Krüger", instilling his warm techno style with segments of Ananda's brilliant melodies. Each producer subtly uses pieces of the original to provide a new experience without taking anything away from it. We are proud to welcome these two great producers to Basmati.
