Richmerch returns after several months of absence with an EP by Persona RS and Macaulay. Lovers of skateboarding, 90's Latin electronic music, Latin American food and the chaka scene, they have created El Tiburón EP. Two original tracks with inspirations from Proyecto Uno and Ilegales that bring sounds of bad taste and third world vibes. It features 3 world class remixes ranging from the more ambient and break style sounds of A - Tweed, through the darker, danceable and good sounds by Martin Noise & DELLA to Techno that makes you relive the feeling of being in an underground party of the 90's thanks to the good Rous.

The release is scheduled for August 8th on all digital platforms.

After a brief hiatus, Martin Enke, known by his artist name Llewellyn, makes a return to Riotvan with "Instant Crush“, a mini-LP consisting of six tracks. Following the success of his previous three EPs and the notable five-year gap since his "These Days" EP, Llewellyn is back to light up the summer with his latest release which will be out July 19th available on vinyl and digital.

"Instant Crush“ is a perfect blend of nostalgia and innovation channeling the essence of the 1980s with a modern twist. Four-on-the-floor beats, luscious string sections, syncopated basslines, soulful electric pianos and vintage synthesizers are all expertly combined by Llewellyn.

Every song on "Instant Crush" is painstakingly composed to take listeners back in time while also keeping them firmly grounded in the here and now. Undoubtedly, this release features the perfect soundtracks for sun-soaked days and balmy summer nights. Enjoy!

People often say a picture is worth a thousand words, but what of a song? Take a single song and show it to a thousand people and you’re bound to get a thousand different interpretations, moods, reactions and opinions. Far Out Radio Systems latest offering aptly named, “Far Out Radio Systems Vol. 03” embodies that theory and more. The four tracks selected stretch from club centric to jungle and there and back again. Each full to the brim with a myriad of emotions and moments. With that being said, we here at Fiction have chosen, “In A Moment of Pure Being (4 A.M. Mix)” to premier in full and what a ride it is.

The track begins, with the sounds of birds chirping. Dipping in, and out of the background, as a lone piano melody floats in the midst. Progressing along, there is tension in the air as the hi-hats and snares come in, quickly followed by the kick and the track is rocketing off. Characteristically of many of his remixes and originals, the drums are in full effect and immediately recognizable and lend a heavy hand to the almost somber feeling of the track. Albeit there is a sense of hope once the melody returns in the second half.

Overall this is another great entry in the legacy of Far Out Radio Systems (aka Kiani and His Legion). This is vinyl only, off of Tanzbar Records, but don’t let that stop you from ordering it. Releases like these don’t come around too often and when they do, you should take note.

PREMIERE: Far Out Radio Systems - In A Moment Of Pure Being (4 A.M. Mix) [Tanzbar Records]

Next on Berlin’s Renate Schallplatten is Longhair, a project formed by Marko Pelaic and Benedikt Bogenberger, two residents of Berlin’s Wilde Renate. Mangostine, a four-tracker, follows last year’s 12” on Dutch label Bordello A Parigi and a track contribution on House Is OK. 

The release is Renate Schallplatten’s first since 2017’s various artist compilations. Earlier EPs have landed from Moscoman, Sebastian Voigt, Wareika, and more.

Italo Deviance (real name Marcello Giordani) began his artistic journey in the
1990s in Italy, during the height of the House Music phenomenon. He was an
avid attendee of record fairs, always on the hunt for USA-style Disco vinyl,
amassing an extensive collection. He also performed at some of Italy’s best
parties, such as Cocoricò, Echoes, Matis, Kinki and more.

In the early 2000s, he developed a passion for and began collecting Italo
Disco vinyl, often for just a few cents. In 2008, he founded a blog called Italo
Deviance with the mission of promoting the most obscure tracks and
versions of early 1980s Italian dance music.

From 2011 to 2023, he became part of the duo Marvin & Guy, which has
since evolved into Circle Point Circle. At the start of 2024, Marcello resumed
work on his label, Italo Deviance Music, embarking on a rebranding effort.
This new phase explores underground electronic music without sticking to a
specific genre, discovering and producing talented artists in both digital and
vinyl formats. He places no particular emphasis on their social media hype,
focusing solely on the music.

This philosophy gave rise to the motto:
“Italo Deviance, where only the music matters.”
