? Here it is, my brand new video, written, recorded and filmed as a testimony to the best place on earth... IBIZA! ??
This one means so much to me because it has grown organically, from the production, to the writing and right up until taking my GoPro out with me and not losing it on the ridiculously crazy nights in Ibiza.
I have to say thank you to all those that have contributed, RVPH who produced the music, NEON WIZARD @ NEW MONEY who mastered the song, ALEX FRANCES who edited the footage and even to my main man D CINKO who helped me film every little bit of madness! Thank you. Lord knows I am in love with the art of music, I hope you all enjoy this one. In return, it would mean a lot to me if you repost/ share/ like/ comment/ as much as you can. Following on from the success of his most recent single Boom (which
received support from BBC 1xtra, Pyro Radio, Fubar Radio and more),
London artist Marcello Spooks delivers with an impressive new EP that
captures the emotions and battles of a character who finds themselves
increasingly engrossed by their own passions.
The 6 track project is a fusing of sounds which shows Spooks’ ability to
vocalise his inner thoughts and express them through this very fresh and
alluring, 808 inspired body of work.
For production duties he enlists Maschine Man Tim who has recently got
himself a huge credit, producing the outro on the brand new Nines album.
Tim lends his expertise in the production of both This Side and Morning
Love, whilst Birmingham's young producer SPK flexes with the powerful
song FDM.

Channelling the emotions concerning love, melancholy and self awareness,
this project dropped on Valentines Day and sees the East Londoner project
some of the struggles faced, as an emerging rapper whilst attempting to
sustain what appears as a toxic relationship.
The project is intertwined with a malicious narrative in the form of a
disgruntled girlfriend who vents her frustrations at Marcello’s attention
being paid to his music career, at her expense...
“The girl represents all the people in your life that doubt you, the people
that you might have thought you were the closest to you. I composed this
mixtape during a time where I felt certain people in my life claimed they
wanted the best for me but in reality, they were looking out for
themselves.”
An experience which those in creative industries are all too aware of, All
Time High delivers a positivity boost for a dream chasers to be “relentless,
selective and secure in your decision making”.
“I feel like the creativity encompassed within the music is a symbolic
reference to the freedom of thought that comes with focusing on yourself
and concentrating your own energies on what you believe in!

"It was kind of weird because I had to pretend to be somewhere else when I put this together, it was cold and about 5 degrees here in London but I wanted to it feel like it was summer. So I closed my eyes when listening back and tried to see if it felt like summer and I think it kind of does. :D Hope you do too!"
