London-based producers Danny Goldstein and Jamie Quinn (aka Matrix) formed Goldtrix in 2001. Goldstein, a programmer and talented keyboardist, previously worked alongside J. Magik (born Jamie Spratling) and dance music diva Kathy Brown on her "Love Is Not a Game" hit. They met Andrea Brown, the youngest sister in a family of singers, at the Miami Winter Music Conference. The threesome made their debut under the name of Goldtrix (a play on the artists names: Goldstein + Matrix) Presents Andrea Brown with "It's Love (Trippin)," a song previously recorded by the contemporary R&B artist Jill Scott and featured on her album "Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1".

"It's Love (Trippin)" debuted in the U.K. singles at number six on January 14, 2002.

While we may well have slipped silently into their 21st Year, Soma Records still have one final release from their 20th Anniversary selection to bring us… and it's one of the very best. 
Silicone Soul "The Soma20 Remixes" is a collection that brings together the very best remixes of tracks by the Scottish duo. Whilst some have featured on Soma20 EP's last year, there's also a selection of brand new and previously unreleased mixes, featuring remixes chosen specifically by Craig and Graeme themselves. 
Picking tracks from each of their four albums "...A Soul Thing", "Staring Into Space", "Save Our Souls" and "Silicone Soul", the duo have given us snap-shots from their career, all reworked and refreshed by some of their favourite producers. First up is their biggest hit to date, the crossover smash "Right On, Right On." With a host of remixes of the track seeing a release last summer, it was this late addition from Matthias Tanzmann that has become a real crowd pleaser and secret weapon. Its delicate layers and percussive elements tease to perfection and create a real pressure cooker of a mix that has already ignited the DC10 closing party last summer. 'Rise Of Angel' is the brand new single from Luciano, and the first single to be taken from his forthcoming album, due in 2013.  However, for the many thousands of dedicated music fans who have made the pilgrimage to Luciano's hugely successful parties this Summer in Ibiza (the weekly Ushuaia sessions and Vagabundos at Pacha), or the many Cadenza parties around Europe and North America, 'Rise Of Angel' has already become the signature tune and musical hi-light in Luciano's sets, making its release a highly anticipated moment for the Cadenza faithful.

Clocking in at over 15 minutes, 'Rise Of Angel' is an epic slice of modern electronic dance music, the simply Balearic, synth and piano driven hook gently builds and teases with cinematic intent, the light percussion and organic beats working the old Luciano magic, it's no wonder that 'Rise Of Angel' has become one of the most talked about tracks of the Ibiza season this year.

For the remixes, Luciano has kept it in the family, enlisting the duties of fellow Cadenza artists Mirko Loko, UNER and Andrea Oliva to all lend their unique production styles to a solid set of reinterpretations.  The vinyl 12" is coupled with Mirko Loko's pulsating robotic workout, adding a more beats driven take on Luciano's original, and delving into the bass for a heavyweight techno flecked remix.

And bolstering the digital package, UNER weighs in with a dubbed out, rolling drum version, using the vocal FX to support the groove whilst the pianos ride over the mix, and Andrea Oliva goes straight for the 4/4 jugular with a remix that builds solid tribal beats to a crescendo, adding a new dimension to the Original with a choice vocal section.

'Rise Of Angel' will be Luciano's first release on his own Cadenza label since 2010's Lucien-N-Luciano's 'Cuidad De Luz' EP, and marks the start of another big chapter in his career, having spent the last couple of years building a passionate audience through hundreds of DJ performances around the world, the Vagabundos events and collaborating musically with artists such as Pharrrell (Neptunes) and Lenny Kravitz.  His forthcoming album will be his second full length collection (following 2009's ‘Tribute To The Sun’), and his label, Cadenza Records, will celebrate its 10th anniversary, so the future certainly looks bright for the Chilean producer and DJ.

What do you think life is? Is it the sunshine that pierces through the window every morning that gives you a glow for the time being? Or is it the acceptance of cold, storm, hurricane and heat, that leads us toward accepting life as it truly is?

We would all opt for the latter, wouldn’t we?

So, if life is that, why couldn’t love to be the same? Why would we, rather why should we expect love to be perfect yet fleeting, beautiful and quick? Why can’t it last? Why can’t it be a habit that we might not be enthusiastic about every single day, but we do it because it is a part of us?

Exactly why we can understand what the right person is, what true love feels like in the face of it.

There might be ten people in your direct messages telling you how hot you are, or how sexy you look, but there would always this one who politely compliments you on every picture, but makes it a point to mention only that. This doesn’t make him gross or cheap. The right person respects your feelings, your opinions have a genuine admiration for the things you believe in, rather than just being one of those that want you only for your body.

This is love. Waiting for you to meet them, even after their classes have finished. Holding your hand while crossing the road, going to places that might not have been their top picks, and just looking at you while you are smiling. All they are thinking about is your beauty, about the vision that you are presenting, about the sheer perfection to them, that is you!

If there is someone who truly loves you, they would make sure it isn’t Friday night that is interesting, but Saturday morning. Their love can be seen in the pancakes they just made for you. People can be pretty misguided when they think about how to prove it to their partners that they love them. Honestly, it isn’t in the elaborate restaurants you take them to, nor in the expensive gifts, you shower them with. No. If someone loves you and wants you to feel it, they would be there with you as you cry your heart out. They would be standing next to you while you are standing in the heat for a bus. They would be waiting to hug you just after you finished an exam. And finally, they would never forget to tell you that they love you.

That is love, in its truest form! Love is in the smallest of things you do. And the right person will always know that....
