Klang des Uluru


Beim Betrachten eines Fotos vom magischen Inselberg ULURU der sich ca. 350m über seinem Umland in der zentralaustralischen Wüste erhebt, kam ich, der noch nie in Australien war, zu dieser musikalischen Idee. 

Ein zauberhafte Klang des Berges Uluru erhebt sich über die Dünenlandschaft nahe dem Ort Yulara. Die flirrende Hitze trägt die Klänge des heiligen Berges der Traumland-Erzählungen hinweg über die Wüste. 

Die zauberhafte, mystische Welt des Uluru.

Sound of Uluru


While looking at a photo of the magical inselberg ULURU, which rises approx. 350m above its surroundings in the central Australian desert, I, who had never been to Australia, came up with this musical idea.

A magical sound of Mount Uluru rises above the dune landscape near the town of Yulara. The shimmering heat carries the sounds of the sacred mountain of the dreamland tales across the desert.

The enchanting, mystical aura of Uluru

Prolific musician, author, photographer and oddity.  With influences ranging from the lofi pop of Guided by Voices, the gothic melodrama of Nick Cave, the glam of Bowie and the nakedness of Iggy Pop - this is Marc Freak.  Former frontman of Freak Circus and Dead Joe.  An experiment in DIY and lofi.  The odd bum note here, the even odder bum note there.  But with art do we care?
