Mixed Signal is the third release from 
Huntington, West Virginia rapper MarcfromMars. This piece was 
accompanied by the production of Zack Colbourne from Kamloops, British Columbia. 
It was written & produced over the course of 2016 to 2018, 
recorded by King Nique with Real Ones Entertainment in 2019 & released at the end of 
March 2019.

Zack's production style is influenced by The Bomb Squad, Aphex Twin, and the 
Cahiers du Cinema. With a sound that is all over the place professionalism, as if
No ID were into noise music and AM radio jamz. Marc's lyrical content largely 
descripts life surrounded by antisocial behavior, escapist tendencies & the trials 
of substance abuse. With influences such as Sage Francis, Doseone & Killer Mike.

This project acquired it's name on behalf of the collaboration 
between written word over electronic instrumentation & as 
a reflection of miscommunication. The album art work features 
an acrylic painting side by side its digital manipulation 
to represent mixed media platforms.
