I envision an Otherworld where most of humanity can celebrate our individual and collective sensuality, intimacy and sexuality in a way that normalizes these aspects of the Self. Provocatively sassy (a house fusion) is simply a fun spin on this vision. If you have a vagina, have you ever looked at it with a mirror? If not, why haven't you explored "yoni gazing"? Some with a clitoris don't know where it is, and no judgement! Emily Nagoski has a book Come As You Are. It's incredible. How ever we are developed at the time of birth in all it's variance, is absolutely normal. Imagine if we all saw ourselves and the other as normal in the shapes of different lips, of all kinds (wink). As a 39 year old woman, I have come to understand our sensuality and sexuality is mighty powerful, and when it's dampened, repressed, or not fed, our creativity for one can be muted. 

Thank you for my CONSENT ISN'T CONTROVERSIAL pin from OW!!! Without consent these sacred parts of Self can be threatened. This pin is also a testament, that no matter how provocatively sassy you behave or dress, a No is a No!

Was aiming for a vibey opening night set on the forest stage at 2025's Priceless festival in Belden, CA.  Blissed-out breaks, atmospheric garage, and hazy house.

Sadly the live recording cut off half my set, so this is from my last rehearsal the night before.

FlatSpin - The Slow Down Vol. 5

As far back as he can remember Marc Gerrard has been surrounded by quality music. Born in Southport, England (it’s grim up north) he comes from one of the most prolific musical countries on the planet and thus brought with him an appetite for music unique to the English. 

After his first concert experience of seeing the Jackson 5 (reunion tour) at the impressionable age of 10, he has since undergone an evolution that has taken him through britpop, indie, funk and into electronic music where now as a DJ he combines the best of all his experience and has developed a virtuosity with his ability to blend the organic with the electronic, traversing genres and taking his listeners on unpredictable yet soulful musical journeys.

His transition from alternative to electronica took place during a stint in Amsterdam where he lived for several years, witnessing a spectrum of bands in the musical cathedral known as Paradiso. There he also got his first taste of European DJ culture. Upon returning to Canada with his expanded musical repertoire, Marc Gerrard bought some decks and began to hone his craft to find his niche and sound.

After playing out around the city at various venues and festivals, Marc Gerrard met Major Tom whereby they quickly developed a kinship through their similar musical proclivities for blending the organic with the electronic. They most recently teamed up to form the DE Kollektiv where with their sound, they strive to explore the boundaries of genre and craft while pushing what defines electronic music. But through all this they always remember and maintain the core value of connecting with their audience by providing a memorable musical experience.
