It was written as a musical diary entry about my struggle with depression and anxiety and the eventual realization that happiness is something we create from within.

Pele is the Hawaiian goddess of volcanoes. Divided in three movements, the lava goddess takes form (Ember) before her imminent wrath is exposed (Eruption). Beyond her destruction, she strives to rebuild from her ashes to be revived as the mighty goddess she once was (Exultation).
