Marc Lime & K Bastian have been passionately mixing and creating music since 1997, including hundreds of appearances in Germany and around the world. Marc has won several awards as a deejay whilst K won even more as a percussionist in several countrywide competitions. Both found together in 2008 when they had the opportunity to contribute a remix for the latter German number one “Rosenstolz – Gib mir Sonne” on Universal Music. From that onwards as music producers, their original tracks have been widely released, including releases on the leading German dance label Kontor Records as well as BigCityBeats. After countless remixes, the two congenial guys from Berlin, Germany set the stakes high. Besides the Guru Josh Project, Cascada, Sarah Brightman, DJ Sammy, Sash!, Dr. Alban, Brooklyn Bounce and D.O.N.S., many other artists and projects gave their faith to the guys to remix their tracks. The experience both gained with the different mixes and remittance work is noticeably hearable. Besides catchy melodies and lyrics, Marc and K manage to transfer their electrifying energy to the audience. Their unusual style of 80s synth pop and contemporary electronic beats absolutely taps the pulse of the age and results in an exciting, highly explosive mixture. The two talented twens produce all their tracks and remixes on their own. Lead singer K Bastian adds his fancy and iconic vocals to their tracks whereas Marc is enthusiastic behind the turntables and synths. A dynamic duo so to speak, which is also able to fascinate the crowd live. After the huge success with “Bizarre” in 2009 and a fresh new single ready featuring Damae of the successful number one UK act “Fragma” (“Tocas Miracle”, “Memory”), the dynamic duo from Berlin is currently working on their first own album and some exciting new remixes – so watch out for Marc Lime & K Bastian 2010.
