US producer APEK's 2017 saw the LA-based up-and-comer deliver some of the best loved releases on Enhanced's start-studded roster, taking a brief trip back to these standout releases, APEK's recognisable hits 'Supernatural', 'Crawl' & 'Traces' see some genre-bending remixes...

Up first APEK & Stassi's ethereal 'Supernatural' gets a torqued-up, bass-heavy flip from the ever capable Au5. Distinctly melodic and undeniably Au5, 'Supernatural' kicks of the Remixes EP to a sublime start.

Next up, Villms & ZIIDAN take their melodic Dubstep approach to APEK, MAXR & Denny White's hit 'Crawl' - transforming 'Crawl' into a broken-beat, piano-lead masterpiece.

Fellow Californian Courtland takes APEK & KARRA's 'Traces' alongside EKG to form an immaculate Big Room take, full of flared melodies and cavernous bass, whilst 9Ds close the EP with an imaginative, uplifting closer.

Three of APEK's biggest releases from 2017 get a diverse rework in 'Supernatural / Crawl / Traces' (Remixed).

APEK feat. Stassi - Supernatural (Au5 Remix) [OUT NOW]

Working hard under their Lanvary production soubriquet, the self-titled "double-headed dragon" has seen an impressive rise to the upper echelons of the underground dance fraternity. Much of that success has come via the Particles imprint with a raft of original music. Originally part of January 2016's "Slingshot Ride" EP, "SS 235" now receives remixes courtesy of Yin and Yang.

A 2015 newcomer to underground progressive house scene, Nicolas D'Orsi has created a name for himself from his Buenos Aries home. A commercial production career that began with the track "Desert" on Underground Music in mid-2015 has seen the Argentinean go on to feature on such leading imprints as Mistique Music, OLD SQL and Electronic Tree. Indeed, it was with the latter that the track "Deliverance" saw a release in April 2017. 

After a relatively quiet year, D'Orsi starts 2018 with a bang as he remixes "SS 235" for Yang. Taking a deep, groove-laden approach to his interpretation, a swathe of ethereal pads and bell-like melodic lead ripple across the mid-range in unencumbered glory. Keeping the themes of Lanvary's original to the fore, a series of counterpoint melodies converge to create a unique sound that is redolent in additional production material, anchored by a thumping kick that drives the remix ever forwards. The result is a nine-minute voyage of discovery that showcases the Nicolas D'Orsi sonic palette.
