Based in the south of France, DCLVIII OFC has risen quickly being on the lips of pioneering DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Karotte, Danny Howells and Hernan Cattaneo. He broke onto the scene a little over 18 months ago and yet shows no signs of slowing down with releases on COD3 QR, Brique Rouge and Metrohm. We assure you that he’s just at the beginning of his sonic journey…

Starting with the analogue funk of ‘Become Human’, sinewy sonics vibrate along with a deep percussive groove, opening and closing with increasing tension. In full flow, the track breathes effortlessly as new melodic layers introduce new avenues of sound.

Next up, ‘Reborn’ delves into deeper tech waters with the motor city at the core of its inspiration. Bulbous kicks lead the way as icy pads, rubbery bass and distant stabs develop into an hypnotic, life-affirming work of art. Finally, the aptly named ‘Last Moment’ provides a huge end of night anthem. The most classically progressive of the triptych, polyrhythmic arps and spacious percussions dive deep into the soul of an artist on the up.
