Thank your for checking out my new single "I Stay Alive", I want to ask support in making a small difference that has a positive outcome in other people’s lives. It would be great if you can purchase and share my new single that was inspired and written by my families story on our fight against cancer. The electronic dance music industry and its culture from my belief stands for unity, love, and togetherness, with your help I strongly believe we can make a difference in the world.
 
It has been a rough journey for me and my family, especially last year (2014), as we lost both my parents from Cancer only 4 months apart from each other. We have been fighting it the past 3 years and I can truly say it has been the worst and the best time of my life. It was the best because knowing of what’s to come made our family closer, and the worst because it’s never easy to see loved ones suffer in so much pain. I long for my parents every single day, it doesn’t get any easier in fact it just gets harder by the day.  Inspired by our experience and my longing for my parents I wrote and produced this track, I Stay Alive, a progressive house track that has vocals that touches the heart.

In so many ways we all our touched by cancer, maybe through a friend, a family member,  or an acquaintance. Music I believe is the best universal language of the soul, and it’s because of this that I have decided to sell the song on iTunes with all the proceeds distributed to cancer foundations around the world to help less fortunate families in their fight against cancer, especially in 3rd world countries that support and treatment is not available or accessible.
 
A huge part for my dream to be successfully is support from YOU ALL. Creating awareness and sharing our story could potentially help a lot of people in need. Together let us make a difference. Sidenote: Marc decided to change his name from Catalyst in 2014 because he wanted to honor his parents by using the name they gave him. He both lost his parents due to cancer in 2014, his dad january 2014 and mom may 2014. His biggest inspiration was his parents and by changing his name he is reminded everyday of this inspiration. Rest in Heaven to Froilan & Celine Mercado.
