On this installment we have one of our favorite dj/producers, residing in our own Bay Area backyard.  Marc Muon’s set brings an aggressive edge to techno while infusing melody and soul, breaking down preconceived notions that hard dance music cannot have a light hearted side at the same time.  In the artist's own words:

"I think sometimes more aggressive styles of dance are written off as lacking in melody/groove/soul. 'It sounds like pots and pans', etc. I wanted to make a mix as a rejection to this line of thinking - it is rather hard but also quite fun. No original works here - a mix of very recent tracks I've been obsessing over plus some all-time faves at the end. Mixed on 2 CDJs for those who wonder about that sort of thing."
