When John Digweed and Nick Muir work together its not just a standard release or another compilation piece to be appreciated and shelved. Its not even the next applauded record to add to their intimidating catalogue. A partnership forged over countless remixes and productions, a Muir and Digweed collaboration is the meeting of two legendary minds that raise the bar for DJs and peers alike to reach up and grab. Upcoming release and unique new project Versus challenges fellow acts to do just that. Pitching head to head with the Bedrock founding members are a hand-selected display of some of the greatest house and techno talent around. Marco Bailey, Henry Saiz, and Christian Smith &amp; Wehbba are amongst a host of diverse acts that caught the forerunners attention for their distinctive sound and prowess in the studio over recent years to join them on Versus. Coming via their esteemed imprint, this brand new 3-part concept album is out on the 7th October for the entire world to revel in.

This album will position itself atop a stunning array of equally iconic records from the Bedrock label that over the years has showcased stunning single releases, artist albums and legendary compilation mixes. Versus delivers the next masterstroke in the labels development and speaking of the perception on the album, John and Nick declared:

What started out as a remix swap then an extended EP then out of nowhere after 12 months an album and with many twists and turns, Versus is finally here featuring a set of amazing collaborations and remixes with some of our favourite producers from around the world. CD 1 (Mixed by John Digweed) &amp; CD 2 (Unmixed) feature 12 of these distinct producers that John and Nick earmarked as their current favourites. From the Techno of The Japanese Popstars to jozifs signature funk and house, John &amp; Nick go all out on their quota of production to generate truly special cuts alongside their much respected counterparts. On the first of the three CDs, Nicks considerable musical talents blend seamlessly with Johns vision as a DJ and unparalleled passion and knowledge for what works on the dancefloor. Like the perfectly structured sets Digweed has solidified his fame for, the Versus mix ebbs and flows to searing peaks and tranquil hypnotizers that make up an assorted blend of floor filling masterworks. While on CD 2, listeners can catch each production in its own diverse and genre jumping detail. No less than leading single Awakenings with Northern Irelands finest, Psycaton. A pounding Techno fueled number, harking back to the golden age of acid tinged basslines and urgent, frenetic drums this one made Jacques Le Cont, Russ Chimes, Danny Tenaglia, Laurent Garnier and James Zabelia go crazy for, with the latter announcing he was with John we played this in Tokyo, massive track! In no doubt of making all listeners follow suit with excitement, this ones yours to own on 9th September. 
  
The 3rd and final CD is left solely to Digweed &amp; Muir, which exhibits them at their creative best. With just a handful of productions in current circulation of the two stars locking horns, eight brand new and exclusive tracks presented by the duo is a rare treat for Bedrock fans. A beautifully sculpted mix of down tempo set closers, this concluding offering is perfect for an after hours set as it lulls and coerces the listener into a suspended dreamlike state of musical serenity. Simply titled, Electronica, its the perfect end to a perfect tri-part album. Coming as a limited edition box set and vinyl, what started out as an EP of collaborations has morphed into an index of enormous hits.

Chris Liebing returns to his CLR with two-track EP.

Chris Liebing comes back to his CLR label this April with the ‘Phantom Rider’ EP, already supported by Daniel Avery, GiGi FM, Jon Hester, and more. The first track, ‘Kaizen’, doesn’t hold back - pounding drums, cavernous dub chords, and a razor-sharp snare-laden groove all play a part in this peak-time offering. Liebing’s ‘Wailer’ completes the package, continuing with more rough and raw rhythm and wonky, unfiltered 303 lines, making for a fantastic follow-up to his acclaimed version of Emmanuel Top’s acid techno hit, ‘Turkish Bazaar’, which closed out CLR’s 2024 and has stayed at the top of the Beatport Techno charts throughout 2025.

Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists like Shlomi Aber, Dubfire, Flug, Bjarki, DJ Dextro and more while also focusing on developing newer acts in the scene such as Risa Taniguchi, The Southern, and Klint.

Belgian producer K-Deey joins Say What? with a powerful statement in the form of the Delulu EP — a hypnotic, rolling, and groove-driven collection of four finely crafted techno cuts.

The EP kicks off with 'Delulu' - built around a pulsating low-end and tight, swinging percussion, this track teases and evolves with subtle oldschool stabs and hypnotic vocal snippets that seem to echo from a distant dimension. The result is a track that keeps the floor locked in while allowing the mind to drift — a perfect opener for setting a deep, rolling mood

Next up is 'Whimsical', a deeper and more introspective offering. Here, K-Deey leans into a hypnotic loop structure, with subtly evolving synth phrases and a dubby bassline that anchors the track. There’s a dreamlike quality in the textures, creating a perfect final chapter for the EP. It’s a track that invites inner reflection just as much as it commands movement.

The third track on the release is '16:1' - a sharp, percussive groove lays the groundwork for layered synth stabs and intricate hi-hat patterns that push the track forward relentlessly. There's a mechanical yet playful edge here — a kind of controlled chaos — making it ideal for peak-time energy without ever becoming too obvious. The minimal arrangement leaves space for DJs to stretch and manipulate in the mix.

Closing the EP is 'Tachitita', diving into more Electro techno territory. The groove is warm and bouncy, led by metalic-inspired rhythms and interlocking drum patterns that evoke a sense of ritualistic movement. Unexpected dark textures and tonal percussion elements flicker across the stereo field, giving this track a playful but driving character that keeps dancers engaged and guessing.

Marco Bailey is somewhat considered an icon when it comes to techno and the dance music industry as a whole. It starts with a beat, and for Marco that as in the late 80’s. In 2014 he celebrated 25 years of Marco Bailey, a true achievement for someone who is an ambassador for the scene as well as an amazing DJ and producer. 

He grew up in Belgium, and it all started out when he went to a small local club in his nearby city. At this point, he knew little and didn't have any musical heroes, but soon released that he would rather be behind the decks than on the dance floor. 

His break came in 2000 with his first EP on Carl Cox’s Intec imprint with “Play It Back”. Over the next couple of years he worked on his own imprint, launching MB Elektronics, with the first release in 2002 with “Caprioska”. The releases came flowing over the next few years, which saw the release of his critically acclaimed “Rube Boy” album back in 2004, soon followed by “Dragon Man” LP on John Digweed’s Bedrock in 2011.

His most recent album was with 12 track “High Volume” released back in 2013 on MB Elektronics, dubbed by some techno aficionados as a masterpiece. It was at this time, he also released an up close and personal documentary “Marco Bailey”.

His Electronic Force radio show has been a huge success from the get-go, with almost 300 episodes to date, he has had every artist on board from Carl Cox, Alan Fitzpatrick, Umek, Joseph Capriati, Sam Paganini and Carlo Lio. It’s heard by millions of listeners in more than 50 countries.

Marco has been touring relentlessly throughout his career, he’s an artist who can say he has probably played at almost every club in the world, and been listed at the top of major festivals. He hasn't stopped, and this summer was no exception his MATERIA brand taking a new home at Vista Club, Ibiza. Every Sunday, he offered artists including Sam Paganini, Carlo Lio, Julian Jewell, and Paul Ritch for the closing on the 28th August all came out to party with Marco and the crowd.

You can expect to see the MATERIA brand reach far and wide this year, with parties in London, Vienna, Amsterdam and Tokyo planned this winter. Mid October will see the release of the MATERIA compilation mix, a collection of tracks selected personally by Marco, of both his own releases and all the artists which played at MATERIA in Ibiza this summer. 

2017 continues to be another landmark year for Marco, with his first MATERIA residency considered a huge success, the brand looks to move worldwide, becoming a high-profile label and radio show as well and continuing to grow. He is a true pioneer of Techno, and has no plans to put on the brakes anytime soon.
