MB Elektronics unleashed a massive box set of seven tracks and with this release MB celebrates ADE festival. Marco Bailey & Redhead - Chrome Bullet (Original Mix) [MB Elektronics]

Techno legend Marco Bailey debuts on Amazing Records with an incendiary track and an uncompromising remix along with fellow Belgian superstar Redhead. The long-time veteran shows here his straightforward talent and his unique production skills: his well-documented release list goes back to the mid-nineties, spanning almost two decades of underground music, and has brought him to play at some of the most acclaimed festivals and parties worldwide such as Tomorrowland, Time Warp, Awakenings and I Love Techno. His guest appearances at Ibiza&#8217;s Space have become a staple in the white island&#8217;s scene, and his dj performances are in steady demand. Label owners MiniCoolBoyz team up with Italian sensations NHB for their own take on Bailey&#8217;s tune, and the VA also features a special contribution by Milan&#8217;s badass Giorgio Rusconi. &#8220;Stir It Up&#8221; opens with a vibrating percussive groove and a crescendo of filtered vocals that explode into a bass driven relentless swinging rhythm, while the remix is a darker rework with a mammoth chugging kick drum and hypnotic twitching synth stabs which give out a sinister and creepy vibe. &#8220;Pulsar&#8221;&#8216;s atmospheric techno and rollickin bounce lead through a spaced out journey, whereas Bailey and Redhead&#8217;s remix is upbeat and filled with galloping sounds and big analog pulses. In Patent Skillz 053 we present another Spanish talent -Adrian Oblanca. He was born in Zamora (Spain). He began his techno musical career at his hometown in 2006. Vella is a Bulgarian DJ emerging in Sofia’s underground techno scene. Mentored by Bulgarian Techno Pioneers Metropolis, she has developed a multi‑layered sound built on minimal basslines, steady grooves and hypnotic patterns. She has played early‑morning slots at events organised by Metropolis, Rawsonance and Roboloco, and recently made her debut at the Inter Expo Center for Metropolis HARDONE alongside Kobosil, Clara Cuve and O.B.I.

This mix features a steadily evolving flow that grows more trippy with each track, combining a curated selection of tracks layered up to three at a time to create a deep, driving groove.

Lucas Scheermann brings honesty and passion to the electronic music scene. His tracks are regularly played by artists like Ben Klock, DVS1 and Lea Occhi, reflecting his growing influence as both producer and DJ. But for Lucas, it's about more than just music—he sees it as a way to give back and shape the scene he loves.

Through his Berlin-based label SAMMLER, Lucas releases techno records pressed at the plant where he also works. His music has been heard at iconic venues like Berghain, Bassiani, and Fusion Festival. Alongside this, his second label, engörn, explores house and ambient sounds. Its debut release in summer 2024 marked a new chapter and has already turned heads.

This mix was recorded live at Lorem Ipsum in Hannover, where Lucas opened the night alongside Beste Hira, Justine Perry and Session Restore. It marked the start of his official residency and sets the tone with a deep, steady warm-up.

The Icarus Kid, a DJ/producer based out of Los Angeles, has been combining dance and video game music since 2009. Formerly a live electronic artist, since 2023 he has been breaking into the house scene, starting with his Dummy EP which peaked at #1 on the Beatport Top 100. The undisputed groove don, DJ PP, graces 1605 with "Revolver" and gets straight to business with rubber-band subs and surgically edited percussion. Loopy vocal snippets help keep heads down and the welcomed rush comes via monstrous sweeps.
Amo & Navas beef things up even more with their crunchy rhythm section, and opt for a dubbier vibe with their trademarked stomping groove and spacious, low-end percussive magic.

Marco Bailey is somewhat considered an icon when it comes to techno and the dance music industry as a whole. It starts with a beat, and for Marco that as in the late 80’s. In 2014 he celebrated 25 years of Marco Bailey, a true achievement for someone who is an ambassador for the scene as well as an amazing DJ and producer. 

He grew up in Belgium, and it all started out when he went to a small local club in his nearby city. At this point, he knew little and didn't have any musical heroes, but soon released that he would rather be behind the decks than on the dance floor. 

His break came in 2000 with his first EP on Carl Cox’s Intec imprint with “Play It Back”. Over the next couple of years he worked on his own imprint, launching MB Elektronics, with the first release in 2002 with “Caprioska”. The releases came flowing over the next few years, which saw the release of his critically acclaimed “Rube Boy” album back in 2004, soon followed by “Dragon Man” LP on John Digweed’s Bedrock in 2011.

His most recent album was with 12 track “High Volume” released back in 2013 on MB Elektronics, dubbed by some techno aficionados as a masterpiece. It was at this time, he also released an up close and personal documentary “Marco Bailey”.

His Electronic Force radio show has been a huge success from the get-go, with almost 300 episodes to date, he has had every artist on board from Carl Cox, Alan Fitzpatrick, Umek, Joseph Capriati, Sam Paganini and Carlo Lio. It’s heard by millions of listeners in more than 50 countries.

Marco has been touring relentlessly throughout his career, he’s an artist who can say he has probably played at almost every club in the world, and been listed at the top of major festivals. He hasn't stopped, and this summer was no exception his MATERIA brand taking a new home at Vista Club, Ibiza. Every Sunday, he offered artists including Sam Paganini, Carlo Lio, Julian Jewell, and Paul Ritch for the closing on the 28th August all came out to party with Marco and the crowd.

You can expect to see the MATERIA brand reach far and wide this year, with parties in London, Vienna, Amsterdam and Tokyo planned this winter. Mid October will see the release of the MATERIA compilation mix, a collection of tracks selected personally by Marco, of both his own releases and all the artists which played at MATERIA in Ibiza this summer. 

2017 continues to be another landmark year for Marco, with his first MATERIA residency considered a huge success, the brand looks to move worldwide, becoming a high-profile label and radio show as well and continuing to grow. He is a true pioneer of Techno, and has no plans to put on the brakes anytime soon.
