Ken Cadua, known by his stage name kennino, is a rising force in Lisbon’s techno scene. Drawing from the city’s rich club culture, his sound blends hardgroove and techno with tribal dub and hypnotic rhythms, creating high-energy sets that are both versatile and entrancing.

In 2024, he launched POV Lisboa, a project that began as a nightlife photography archive and evolved into a respected community-driven event series. Celebrated for its inclusive ethos, POV Lisboa puts the spotlight on diverse DJs and collective energy over individual personas.

This mix is a rhythmic exploration designed to hold attention through continuous movement—hypnotic, seamless, and pulsing with energy.

Marboc (@marboc), czyli Marcin Bociański, jest jednym z kluczowych elementów układanki trójmiejskiej sceny. Posiadacz bogatej kolekcji winyli, od niedawna także wykładowca w gdańskiej placówce Instytut Dźwięku. Ponad 15 lat muzycznego doświadczenia zaowocowały odnalezieniem swojego długo wyczekiwanego miejsca na ziemi w postaci brzmienia łączącego szybkość rytmicznej perkusji z subtelnym tłem i wciągającą industrialną linią basu. Jego produkcje na przestrzeni lat zasiliły takie wytwórnie jak DRVMS LTD., Rhod Records, Frequenza czy Coded Platform. Nie ma dla niego znaczenia, czy gra na końcu, czy na początku imprezy. Marcin umiejętnie dostosowuje się do klimatu i otoczenia serwując czy to hipnotyczny warm up, czy bezkompromisowy closing.

The next edition of our SYSTEM EXCLUSIVE podcast comes from Bulgarian-born Dj and producer @lucyd_official. Mixing hypnotic and deep tunes, characterized by 
cacophonous and often trippy synths into complete dance floor weapons that give her sets the right pacing, the Bulgarian powerhouse quickly made a name for herself across Europe. Residing in Poland at the moment, she co-owns the techno label @CALOSC which gives upcoming artists the opportunity to shine, playing a vital role in the polish underground scene. We are happy to have such a talented artist and contributor to scene representing our 22nd podcast edition.

Boldly unconventional yet highly functional, each piece serves as a passage: a shift in tempo, tone, or texture, shaped by a deeply personal sonic vision. Rather than offering a fixed narrative, the record encourages fluid movement — between genres, emotional states, and sonic architectures. Eleven is a finely tuned exercise in tension, groove, and release; a thoughtful and uncompromising work from one of Italy’s most singular voices.  

The EP kicks off with the title track "Eleven", which carries the weight of a timeless hymn — balancing melancholy and release through an impactful lead motif, anchored by a heavy, hypnotic kick. "Hypernova" dives into submerged territory, where swinging percussions, chopped vocals, and aquatic atmospheres unfold with eerie precision on its 909 workout. On the B side, "Kaus" moves in a state of continuous evolution: elegant and deep, driven by tribal rhythms and swelling chords that glide into trance-like dimensions. "Replication" closes the cycle with relentless pressure: twisted sound design, full-bodied groove, and a sense of motion that refuses to resolve.

Havik is a techno DJ and producer from Ireland, with a sound rooted in the golden era of techno. His music draws on deep grooves, sharp tension and emotive drive—earning support from names like Ben Klock, Rødhåd, Marrøn, Alarico, Temudo, Kaiser, and Setaoc Mass.

He’s released on labels including BCCO, SYXT, Concrete Tbilisi, Syncopated Records, PRTL WRX, Observant, and Club Meatmarket. His second vinyl release on Circuit Structure Records is set to drop in May 2025.

Havik’s tracks have found their way into sets at some of the world’s top underground clubs—Berghain, Bassiani, Tresor and beyond—speaking to the raw power and wide reach of his sound.

This mix was recorded in his home studio in Ireland. It marks an important moment for Havik and reflects what peak-time means to him: groove, tension, energy and emotion. It blends both old and new underground techno into one tight, driving journey.

About the EP :
For our 103rd vinyl strike we’re honoured to welcome Flug to 100% Pure.
Flug, as his name suggests, allows his audience to take a trip back to their roots, back to their
inner self and what it is to really feel techno. The Argentinian´s definition of techno has been
clearly demonstrated not only through his DJ sets in clubs and festivals all around the globe
that are as devastating as they are uplifting with his serious kick drums, use of hi-hats and
reverberating bass lines, but also through driving his own organically produced techno forward
through his releases and remixes. His music is now recognized and played worldwide due to his
unrivalled and brutal self-discipline in the studio, his humbleness in approach, his fierce passion
and overall dedication.
For 100% Pure, Flug has produced I Like Stress EP comprising 2 remixes by label head 2000
and One and artistic duo Atoll.

Dutch duo Abstract Division (aka Paul Boex and Dave Miller) present ‘Aftermath EP’, a four track package due *release date* on the eponymous imprint from Milan based collective Just This. Featured in the release are remixes from Peter Van Hoesen and VRIL. 
Title track is a subtle dancefloor killer with funky cyclic rhythms and peculiar harmonies, followed by ‘Isolated’, a subdued yet dizzying dose of syncopated drums and crystalline melodic inflections. 
For his interpretation of ‘Isolated’, VRIL mutates the stripped back hypnotism of the original into a maximal, angular workout, whilst Peter Van Hoesen focuses on the dizzying loops of the original, repurposing them into an immersive spiral of funk driven techno. 
‘Aftermath EP’ fuses elements of ambient and soulful techno for an understated but powerful package.

Abstract Division - Aftermath

Marco Bailey is somewhat considered an icon when it comes to techno and the dance music industry as a whole. It starts with a beat, and for Marco that as in the late 80’s. In 2014 he celebrated 25 years of Marco Bailey, a true achievement for someone who is an ambassador for the scene as well as an amazing DJ and producer. 

He grew up in Belgium, and it all started out when he went to a small local club in his nearby city. At this point, he knew little and didn't have any musical heroes, but soon released that he would rather be behind the decks than on the dance floor. 

His break came in 2000 with his first EP on Carl Cox’s Intec imprint with “Play It Back”. Over the next couple of years he worked on his own imprint, launching MB Elektronics, with the first release in 2002 with “Caprioska”. The releases came flowing over the next few years, which saw the release of his critically acclaimed “Rube Boy” album back in 2004, soon followed by “Dragon Man” LP on John Digweed’s Bedrock in 2011.

His most recent album was with 12 track “High Volume” released back in 2013 on MB Elektronics, dubbed by some techno aficionados as a masterpiece. It was at this time, he also released an up close and personal documentary “Marco Bailey”.

His Electronic Force radio show has been a huge success from the get-go, with almost 300 episodes to date, he has had every artist on board from Carl Cox, Alan Fitzpatrick, Umek, Joseph Capriati, Sam Paganini and Carlo Lio. It’s heard by millions of listeners in more than 50 countries.

Marco has been touring relentlessly throughout his career, he’s an artist who can say he has probably played at almost every club in the world, and been listed at the top of major festivals. He hasn't stopped, and this summer was no exception his MATERIA brand taking a new home at Vista Club, Ibiza. Every Sunday, he offered artists including Sam Paganini, Carlo Lio, Julian Jewell, and Paul Ritch for the closing on the 28th August all came out to party with Marco and the crowd.

You can expect to see the MATERIA brand reach far and wide this year, with parties in London, Vienna, Amsterdam and Tokyo planned this winter. Mid October will see the release of the MATERIA compilation mix, a collection of tracks selected personally by Marco, of both his own releases and all the artists which played at MATERIA in Ibiza this summer. 

2017 continues to be another landmark year for Marco, with his first MATERIA residency considered a huge success, the brand looks to move worldwide, becoming a high-profile label and radio show as well and continuing to grow. He is a true pioneer of Techno, and has no plans to put on the brakes anytime soon.
