Skober brings his unmistakeable sound back to Phobiq and &#8220;Bring It To Me&#8221; is just oozing classy darkness with menacing stabs over a grinding rhythm section. The secret here, however, is made up of the warped synths leading to an epic-yet-psychotic breakdown. &#8220;Chaotic Harmony&#8221; serves as a chrome-plated juggernaut, sporting metallic riffs and tense atmospherics, for a total nocturnal vibe. 
 The Re:Axis remix pulls the gears back a bit and relies on warbled effects and heavy use of the original&#8217;s vocal snippet, while snappy drums shuffle away effortlessly and make way for some tasty chord action for a totally different approach.

We are happy to welcome Maceo Plex to Drumcode with the fourth instalment of his Conjure series, ‘Conjure Infinity’. Featuring two tracks ‘Conjure Dreams’ and ‘Conjure Floyd’, both are peak time monsters that introduce two very different elements. ‘Conjure Dreams’ utilises a groovy, melodic bass that is reinforced using tight thumping drums to shatter any dance floor into the universe. ‘Conjure Floyd’ builds into a more ‘heads down’ techno vibe with a very interesting breakdown. Two sure fire tracks to ignite the floor.

Thanks to their dj travels and hi speed internet, spanish dj/producer Ramiro Lopez produced three enormous floorfillers together with Arjun Vagale from New Delhi which instantly convinced Monika Kruse to release on her label. With the remix from Toronto based duo The Junkies this EP truly spans the global with the ingredients from three different continents.

Rafa Barrios makes his debut on Phobiq and the title track boasts a sly synth riff and distressed electronics, while the bass-heavy groove chugs away effortlessly. On &#8220;Coco&#8221; the sticky bassline provides the perfect backdrop for quirky effects and helps glue the grinding rhythm section together. &#8220;Delta&#8221; opts for a more dubbed-out approach and unfolds a suspenseful breakdown, which leads us directly to the closing &#8220;Thyphon&#8221; where the gears get kicked up a notch and haunting samples offer the necessary style and finesse.

Victor Calderone has stepped up for his first solo release on Drumcode with his two track single, ‘Burden’. Featuring two energetic tracks, ‘Skin’ and ‘Burden’, Victor has used effected vocals to create funky rhythms over the top of some steaming kick drums. The synth stabs lend themselves well across this EP particularly in ‘Burden’ where they really augment the flow of the track. The use of percussion phrases throughout both tracks on the single also reinforces the grooves and adds character to create a distinctive sound that keeps the single fresh and exciting.

Stephan Hinz has created three collaborative tracks that cover all areas of the techno spectrum and one track is of course with the label bosses, Pan-Pot. We've got the premiere of 'Tension' and take note of the title because the track is brimming with it.

The cut kicks off with thumping kicks and groove-inducing claps before it begins its incline to full-throttle wall-shaker. The drops are punishing and the builds are tantalising. Trust us, this one goes hard. Check it.

It was a real honour to be asked to do a remix for Sasha's Last Night On Earth label and I was really pleased with how this one turned out. A big trippy melodic rave bomb :)
