Thanks for making this! I'm debating between buying an F3 + 2 VXLR+ or a Tascam FR-AV2. There aren't many places to find comparisons. They are almost identical, I just found the noise on the tascam less pleasing / more harsh.

4 Roe Deer, with one of them barking. I watched the Roe Deer watch me for a bit, and then they carried on their way into the forest. Recorded around 5:55am with parabolic reflector.

A pristine night ambience over a remote forest lake with many beatiful birds: Eurasian Bittern, Fieldfare, Black-throated Diver, Black Grouse and many others, Beavers flapping their tails and moaning, and a big fat bassy propeller airplane passing by. Although we all hate airplanes that ruin our recordings, I find this particular case merely beautiful.  ORTF, so sounds nice both on speakers and headphones.
