With the “Bukowski” EP, Heilbronn-based DJ and producer Marcel Locust pays tribute to a place that has profoundly shaped his musical journey: the legendary techno club Bukowski in Heilbronn. Countless nights of energy, inspiration, and community flow into the title track – a powerful peak-time techno banger that channels the raw intensity of the dancefloor.

The EP is complemented by two remixes from Heilbronn artists, each adding their own signature touch: Driver transforms “Bukowski” into a driving hardtrance ride, while Marco Plazetti takes the track in a groovy, playful direction – somewhere between tech house and minimal.

The result is a musical homage to a club, a city, and a scene that resonates far beyond Heilbronn: raw, diverse, and full of passion.

Marco Plazetti is a well-known name in the electronic music scene, recognized both nationally and internationally. As a resident DJ, event organizer, and booker at the renowned Bukowski-live in Heilbronn, Germany, Marco has made a lasting mark with his signature blend of house and tech-house. His electrifying sets consistently ignite dancefloors, creating unforgettable experiences for clubgoers.

Marco's influence extends beyond his residency. His monthly Hstlr Night event series at Bukowski-live is a staple in the Heilbronn nightlife, delivering unmatched vibes and drawing crowds from near and far. Additionally, Marco is a regular contributor to Phonk Magazine, organizing insightful DJ interviews that provide a deeper look into the electronic music world.

In early 2024, Marco made his debut on Radio Sunshine Live, marking another milestone in his ever-growing career. Looking ahead to 2025, fans can eagerly anticipate the release of several new tracks on prestigious labels within the electronic music scene.

As a resident, booker, and host at Bukowski-live (Heilbronn), he has established himself in the scene with his HSTLR Nights – events known for their authentic vibe and packed dance floors.
In addition, Marco hosts the event series DSTRCT ONE at the legendary Climax Institutes in Stuttgart, where he regularly blends underground artists and sounds with international influences.
On the side, he writes for Phonk Magazine, providing exclusive insights into the electronic music scene.
