All of us have forgotten so much of what once united humans without it being perfect, that's for sure, but the teaching of respect, love and peace were instilled in us. It's up to everyone to see what they do with it next... and it's unfortunately... a long whisper...

Un long murmure... résume ainsi tous les cris que nous n'avons pas entendus ou que nous n'avons pas voulu entendre de la part de tous ceux qui ont subi une vie qu'ils n'auraient jamais dû avoir, mais à qui la faute ?
Nous avons tous oublié une grande partie de ce qui unissait autrefois les humains sans que cela soit parfait, c'est sûr, mais l'enseignement du respect, de l'amour et de la paix nous a été inculqué. C'est à chacun de voir ce qu'il en fera ensuite... et c'est malheureusement... un long murmure...

A Long Whisper

"Genova per noi" is a song written by Paolo Conte in 1975, and first performed by Bruno Lauzi.
It's a dedication to the city of Genoa, the song describes the impressions of Piedmontese who go to Genoa, that is, the relationships of race, attitude and temperament between neighbours in the region.

It's also strikingly reminiscent of this Welsh country bumpkin's impressions of the "big city".

The guitar was played by my son Gideon. We hope you'll enjoy!

The album artwork cover, also used as the cover of each constituent track, was created in PowerPoint and annotated in Mac OS Preview on 19 July 2023 (and 5 January 2024, changing the year from 2023 to 2024 in the brackets of the album title).

Marco Bresci is an Italian musician, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and electronic artist based in Vienna.
He specializes writing music for media. His style is characterized by a continuum between simple, soulful themes and defined electronic sequences with increasing momentum. His compositions draw on neoclassical, orchestral, and electronic music.
