Let Angel Heredia be your guide as the ‘Take A Trip’ EP invites clubbers to catch some rays late in the calendar. The Spanish producer and DJ has taken his bag of beats across the country before letting the world in on his turntable secrets and style, only aligning himself with the best labels and reaping the rewards of A-list support as a result. Alongside his role as label A&R, Heredia is ready to roll again as a Clarisse artist, with the ‘Groovapaluzza’ and ‘Bang Bang’ EPs already in his back catalogue. 
 
With some garage-style skip in his step, Heredia only travels first class for ‘Take A Trip’. The bassline dip that runs throughout is killer, and the snatches of female vocal pleasure are at one with the sun and sea the track has packed its bag for. Throwing in some classic organ bass sounds as well for good measure and with Heredia temporarily getting a touch spikier on the breakdown, ‘Take A Trip’ has got that essential Clarisse holiday hotspot vibe to it. 
 
Featuring a sideshow of beats and pieces propping up a straightforwardly direct dose of the deep and funky, ‘Dozze’ invests in more low end melody, but one which steps like bare feet on hot poolside concrete. Sleekly going about its business, this 4x4 rollout is almost unaware of the percussive tricks, echoes, stutters, beatboxes and fine slivers of exotic vocals Heredia liberally sprinkles into the mix like he’s putting toppings on a huge scoop of ice cream. Crucially these are just the sort of techniques to catch your ear and convert your position to one of appreciation in front of the DJ booth. Release #111 is win-win-win.

'The next self-release from Mike Morrisey is his ‘Akimbo’ EP. Another diverse combination of dancefloor jams, giving you a look inside the mind of one of the UK’s most-acclaimed prospects.

One of his most highly sought after tracks to date, ‘Akimbo’ infuses Libero Sound with that moreish UK Deep Tech soundscape that is so prominent of late. Hard-hitting but also loosely swung, making for the perfect combo of punch and verve. Throw in a hypnotic vocal top line and a delicate synth melody and you’re left with a care-free end product that you can easily break loose to in any situation.

‘Moving On’ continues with a salute to Libero, with a definitive display of the imprint’s unique characteristics. Uptempo and minimalistic grooves - focusing on layers of percussion and a rhythmic bass melody, passing through peaks and troughs of energy along the way.

Next up is 'Que Calor', a low-slung, percussive driver that sticks true to Mike's trademark sound. Delayed synths and Latin vocals work in conjunction with a robust low end to produce an end product that oozes class.

‘On Ya Mind’ is a pulsating low-end groover with ample drive. Pushed forward by a catchy vocal hook and a rattling synth line that cascades down semitones in time with the rhythm, the track features a stripped-back underground personality with an almost tribal feel.

‘Dinger’ caps things off with resounding amounts of gusto. Taking elements from previous production styles and influence from different imprints that have had an impact on Mike along the way, the track is a thrilling fusion of high-energy Tech House grooves, minimalist percussion, captivating and gritty melodic components and simplistic vox construction.'

Marco Carola is a global ambassador of techno. From Napoli in the south of Italy, Marco was instrumental in the development of the electronic scene in the early 90s, he took the flourishing techno Napolitano scene to the rest of the world. Over twenty years later and Marco is still one of the most respected artists amongst the techno scene, widely regarded as one of the key factors in driving the genre towards worldwide recognition within electronic music.
 
As a revered producer and successful label head, Marco has spearheaded imprints such as Design Music, Zenit, Question, One Thousands and Do.Mi.No whilst releasing music on a selection of the words finest labels such as Minus, Plus 8 2M and Primate Recordings. In addition to five critically acclaimed albums, including his most recent Play It Loud, Marco has also been responsible for a clutch of seminal mix compilations. In 2006, his mix for legendary London club Fabric’s series was a lesson in sleek, future-facing minimalism. That was followed up by well received compilations for Time Warp in 2009. In 2010 Cocoon label boss Sven Väth asked him to mix the Frankfurt based label’s Party Animals CD alongside Nick Curly, which took Carola's dj taste and skills to new heights.
 
Famed for his energetic and impressive three-deck style of mixing and long journey set, Marco has remained one of the most in demand DJs on the planet throughout the last two decades. Favoring mammoth eight hour plus sets, Marco is predisposed to a subtle working of the crowd that has made him a favorite among fans from Ibiza to New York, South America and beyond.
