Mexican producer 'Dj Siniestro' will release his first EP on Truth Radio with 4 banging tracks. "The EP called 'No More Lies' contains 4 original compositions, whit a focus on the Lo-Fi scene with analog basses and dark pads balancing an oldscool and modern vibes.
The essence of these tracks goes back to the 90s with 909 drum machines and deep melodies to dance the rhythm of the underground. The vocals also take an important role since memhis rap gives a more powerful flow to the rhythm creating this dark and danceable aesthetic.

Everything began with a chat between Systematic label head Marc Romboy and his long time friend Paolo aka Dusty Kid. During the pandemic times they reminisced about the most exciting period of techno music, the beginning of the 90s and exchanged tracks which have blown them away.

They listened to tracks on labels like i.e. R&S, Plus 8 and Industrial Strength and all over sudden they came to the idea to create a concept where Dusty Kid would put his hands on four of his most favorite tracks from 1992 and 1993. The result is this Various Artists double vinyl album including new interpretations of four classic tracks which changed their lifes and were and still are iconic.

Enjoy every single track and jump into a time machine which transfers you to the early 90s and the future at the same time!

Gene Simons, from Kiss, first album. Had a wicked pic of him on the cover. I bought it on sight, then when I heard the album, it had a song called, Twinkle,Twinkle Little Star 😂, I never purchased music again without listening to it first.

Few DJs capture the imagination of prog punters like Australia’s Anthony Pappa. Known for his technical proficiency and ability to mix tracks with surgical precision, he is a generational talent who rightfully became a pivotal scene figure.

With a sound rooted in darker, rebellious tones, he fully embodied the underground at a time when the term still held weight.

Achieving what Pappa did requires a life filled with experiences. Given the way social media, marketing, and promotion have transformed the scene, his story is unlikely to be replicated.   

A pivotal part of our story, we dived deep with Anthony Pappa to discuss his career and his peerless Balance 006.

An early intro to electronic music after stumbling across a radio station playing hardcore & rave, helped to propel Movimentum straight into the illegal underground warehouse raves in Sydney in the mid 90s.

The explosion of energy, comradery and creativity from that early era revolutionised his outlook to music, social culture and life-affirming positive attitudes. His love of all things electronic is still as strong as ever today.

From house to techno, nu disco to breakbeat, deep house melodica to progressive house, hardcore to rave, acid house to electro, Movimentum loves to traverse various styles of electronica. A strong history with a deep love for these changing and emerging styles over the decades helps to incorporate a wide range of sounds and beats into his artillery.

Just as happy on the dance-floor as he is behind the decks, the love, passion and kinetic energy is clearly ever-present with Movimentum.
