Been working on this epic remix for the past month or so, and after many stops and starts have finally gotten it finished. I have been wanting to incorporate massive kickdrums into a breakbeat track, a la Smooth But Hazzardous' 'Made You Dance (Carl Cox Remix)' style for ages and since I was due Leon a remix of 'Howard', this was the perfect opportunity.

I didn't got too mad with the breakbeat choppage as I didn't want to stray too far from those kicks, so I mashed up the orchestral soundtrack sample instead. There are plenty of vocal samples from the cult sci-fi/comedy classic scattered throughout. I also messed about with the excellent Akaizer tool and got some pretty nifty metallic time-stretched breaks which gives this a nice 1993 vibe. 

As usual, it's a pretty moody hardcore/jungle-tekno number. Will maybe do that uplifting piano track one day....! :P

PS - Have redone the orchestral section in the middle as it sounded shoddy and re-arranged the end section 'coz it didn't sound right to my ears. Apologies for anyone who has downloaded previously downloaded, but am hoping that this version sounds better. :)

1.	NEEKEETONE – Dancing Bridge 

Multi genre artist NEEKEETONE, after his success on Dynasty Shit, Expose Records, and latest appearance on legendary Dred Collective compilation, hits up GWR with another furious track «Dancing Bridge». The tune starts with a jokingly but well funky made intro based on «Dancing Bridge» sample that refers to NEEKEETONE’s native city Volgograd’s «Dancing Bridge» (www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qHmA0DyHzc) and breaks out into decently built-up and mentally chopped footwork jungle drop with some nice pads and stabs in the breakdown. Well done Mr. NEEKEETONE! 

2. GWR Kollektive – Feeling Yo Body 

This track will work good for both classic footwork djs with its 1/3 808 kicks alongside good old funky sample and synchronized female vocals and for those who like to mix it longer and then kill the dancefloor with a huge amenistic drop taking it deeper into jungle. As always GWR Kollektive makes the tune a long story with different episodes from sweet and cute pieces to harder and faster breakouts. 

3.	MozDJ – Incoming Clash 

This tune was inspired by the recording of “Incoming Soundclash”, where two monsters of Russian raga-jungle HOT and FeyDer were fighting alongside Steppa Style MC (www.junodownload.com/products/steppa-style-totally-dubwise-presents-the-mad/3312275-02). Heavy Nu Skool jungle floor filler, it’s recommended for dirty amen and nasty soundclash business lovers. More fire! 

4.	NEEKEETONE - Original Don Dada 

The EP finishes with monster of a track from NEEKEETONE “Original Don Dada”. Here you will find everything you need for a serious mash up the place business. It is fueled with rude amen chops, dirty bass lines, roughneck ragamuffin samples, and keeps the secret weapon of killing footwork breakdown in the middle of it! Add all-time 100% working “Don Dana” samples to it and u will get your beast of a tune. Here it goes!

The third release on Parallax dips into `94 Ragga-Jungle territory. The mysterious white-label 'Total Dark' with the etching OTTR 1 was distributed through Jetstar, and is highly sought after in collector circles. After we found the original artists behind these wicked sample-fests, and licensed the tracks known as 'Tenement Yard Jungle' and 'Jamaica', we found different versions of each track on the master tapes that had never before appeared on vinyl. So here it is, this 4-tracker features both the released versions from the rare original release, plus the two unreleased ones, all lovingly remastered by Beau Thomas at Ten Eight Seven Mastering. These will be pressed as stamped white-labels once the pre-orders hit break-even. Get on the case, let´s make this happen!
