Last spotted on Pets playing cowboy and firing serious shots with his 'Lone Ranger' release, Brazilian maestro Renato Cohen makes a welcome return to Catz 'n Dogz imprint. And things are getting hot.

'Meltin' is pure, high grade, uncut funk. Bumping and thumping at an up-tempo 127, the whole groove is comprised by just a handful of elements, but the relationship between each ingredient and the space, brings such an interplanetary fatness you feel like you're driving inside the track.

Next up is the unmissable 'Drum Solo'. One of those golden tribal tracks that mixes in so well with absolutely any record you want to play it with and will get the whole crowd locked and fully focused. Would you expect anything less from the man who once famously gave us 'Sixteen Billion Drum Kicks'?

Last but definitely not least in this steamy, ultrafunkula menage-et-trios is 'Space Rockers'. Slinky, sleazy and well oiled, there's a mischievous filtered disco touch to this, but done with grittier 2021 cohones. Rocking? You will be.

The Italian artist has settled in London, where he is a resident of the prestigious club Aquarium and is very well known in the electronic music industry for his exceptional ability to create musical journeys both as DJ and as a producer. "Dances With Wolves" is the best proof of it. This single, which will be released on the 1st of February, has an original mix in which Cassimm develops an infectious rhythm with groovy and electronic sequences delivering a hypnotic track. Long time house tastemakers Tube & Berger are back with another beast of a tune that lands on October 24th on their Kittball Records.
Arndt Roerig and Marko Vidovic – known as Tube & Berger, now come with 'Revolution #4'. It's their follow up release after their super successful Heater remix that was no.1 in the Beatport chart for three weeks, was streamed over 400k times on Spotify, and received huge support from the likes of Pete Tong and Mistajam on BBC Radio 1, as well as Claptone, Camelphat, Dennis Cruz, Detlef, Roger Sanchez, Sam Divine and even Nervo and Tiesto supported the tune.

For the Techno edition of Yoshitoshi 25, we’ve dug deep into the archives and pulled out the finest tracks that define the darker side of Yoshitoshi’s history.
