In this first work by Inigo Kennedy for Utch Elektronics, the experienced British producer, gives us 8 tracks impregnated with complex textures and built in a more moderate BPM than usual. Which indicates a much more contemplative environment, where the melody often becomes melancholic and where in other occasions it takes us to travel to lands as brown as futuristic, where the tracks fit perfectly into our collection of prints and footprints while dividing us an uncertain future. Where the sounds and spectacular musical arrangements cross us and counterbalance our fears and hopes.

Without a doubt this album has a misty, gloomy, brown character. Where the light enters moments; to disappear again. Like the mist that comes into town on a winter morning. This is a melancholic and deep album in which Inigo Kennedy manages to capture his more than two decades as a producer. And where we can meditate, each at his own pace, each of the tracks that compose it and the identity of the sound of Utch Elektronics.

En este primer trabajo de Inigo Kennedy para Utch Elektronics, el experimentado productor Británico, nos entrega 8 pistas impregnadas de texturas complejas y construidos en un BPM más moderado que lo de costumbre. Lo que señala un ambiente mucho mas contemplativo, donde la melodía se torna muchas veces melancólica y en donde en otras ocaciones nos lleva a viajar a terrenos tan pardos como futuristas, donde las pistas encajan perfecto en nuestra colección de impresiones y huellas mientras nos divide un futuro incierto. Donde los sonidos y espectaculares arreglos musicales nos atraviesan y contraponen nuestros miedos y esperanzas.

Sin duda este álbum tiene un carácter brumoso, sombrío, pardo. Donde la luz entra a momentos; para nuevamente desaparecer. Como la neblina que llega a la ciudad en una mañana de invierno. Este es un álbum melancólico y profundo en el que Inigo Kennedy logra plasmar sus mas de dos décadas como productor. Y donde podemos meditar, cada quien a su ritmo, cada una de las pistas que lo compone y la identidad del sonido de Utch Elektronics.

On Saturday,  April 2, 2022 REFORM will be taking over Catch One’s bustling bi-level venue with a 4-room House + Techno lineup. Located on Pico Avenue near Downtown Los Angeles, Catch One originally opened in 1973 and was the longest-running black gay dance bar in the city. It now serves as one of LA’s premiere multi-purpose venues, making it an ideal space for REFORM to host 20+ Techno, House, and Experimental artists across four rooms.

Dj and producer from Los Angeles, California, Force Placement is a resident DJ and founding member of The Black Lodge, an L.A. based event collective and record label that has been pushing mutant strains of underground dance music to the masses since 2015. Known for his versatility as a DJ and live PA artist, Jason’s performances run the gamut from soulful and cerebral house music to mind-bending acid techno.
