Given the honour of opening one of NZ's best kept little festivals, I wanted to pour my heart in to the 2 hours gifted to me. 
Combining some of my favourite tracks with a smattering of my own unreleased music this was a personal journey.

Relish festival holds a deep place in my heart and this year was the most special for me personally and professionally.

In Your Shadow

Sometimes as an artist you can get in your own head about a performance, especially if it's my own music, when transitions are not done well or we feel the flow is missing. Recently I listened to the recording of my Shipwrecked 2024 performance not only did it have these feelings but it also had a glitch in the recording at one point so I put it away and left it on the hard drive. 
But listening to it again I feel like it should be shared warts and all because no-one is as critical of my music as I am and in the moment it was really special for myself and all the people that shared it with me. We created a feedback loop of love and creativity that only happens when the whole dance-floor feeds in to it.💜

The Disco Devils ruled the streets after dark, their neon roller blades flashing as they weaved through the city like a pack of renegade outlaws.

With gritty basslines pumping, they carved up sidewalks and alleyways, daring anyone to challenge their reign over the asphalt.

But beneath their flashy moves and wild stunts, the Disco Devils had one unspoken rule: loyalty to the disco always came first, no matter how dangerous the game got.

Fusion Festival is like no other anywhere in the world. The blend of so many styles of electronic and live music, the punk ethos behind its inception and that it has survived 34 years is incredible.
The vibe on the dance-floors are so great, no phones just happy people dancing hard in the moment throwing out joy.
I would love to thank @kotoe and @madmotormiquel for giving me the opportunity to play at Velvet Soup and welcoming me to the Bachstelzen family 💜 Also, Salty Chops from @pfwg for being my best pal and sharing the afternoon with me playing one after the other 🦓

I have been part of the Housing Project show on our local independent radio station  for over 5 years and had a blast!

I had the honor of curating the music on the lady Sass Art cart during the Man being burnt and the hours after.

For those that were present I hope this triggers fond memories like when fate stepped in to make the burning man collapse at the moment that the let it burn track kicked off in style! (Much fist bumps were had). Even if you were not there please turn up the volume and join us on the journey we had that night. x

Finally I return to Laundry bar! My first gig in months and it is fitting that it is in support of the place and peeps that have always had my back x

It is amazing how circumstance sculpts the sound sometimes. 

The restricted amount of people and rules around only being able to sit down - no dance floor - drove me towards a slower side of deep this time, so pull up a pew 'n pour yourself something relaxing and listen to this 3 hour sonic slide around.

So blessed to be able to party here in NZ, and we are constantly thinking of our families and friends around the world who are not in a position of such privilege. X 
I love playing at Lucky Star, they are an amazing crew of utter pirates who never fail to put the fun in to partying. 
Given the job of setting the scene for Friday night I was blessed with an amazing crowd (which you can hear in places) and my face ached from all the laughing and smiling. I truly love what I do and I love all of you too!! xXx
