Chicks Luv Us launch their new label ‘CLU Recs’, opening via their two-track ‘Dream About You’ EP this April.
Bubbling names within the European house scene for many years, Marseille-based duo Anthony Fonseca and Julien Nerani, aka Chicks Luv Us, have risen from exciting names to watch to established figures within the scene across recent years. Following a near fifteen-year journey fuelled by passion, persistence, and most importantly, friendship, the duo have sculpted their spirited work ethic and dedication to create their own take on house and tech house, welcoming releases to date via the likes of Desolat, VIVa, Snatch!, CUFF and elrow to name just a few whilst holding down key residencies across France. Up next, the pairing will now add the titles of label owners to their resumé as they launch their new label CLU Recs, an imprint focused on ‘exploring all nuances of the Chicks Luv Us sound’ – kicking things off with their own two-track ‘Dream About You’ EP.
Title cut ‘Dream About You’ opens the EP and welcomes the introduction of hazy chords, slick drums, and infectious, soulful vocals as the pairing reveal a groove-heavy lead track perfect for the peak time and the after-hours, whilst ‘FK You Up’ fuses warping synths, punchy kicks, and rubbery bass licks to close things up in style.

Since launching in early 2019, Dennis Cruz and Eddy M's MÜSE imprint has quickly seen the pairing curate one of the scenes most impressive rising labels - welcoming the likes of Tube & Berger, Piem and Alan Nieves alongside rising talents including Gruuve and Bizen Lopez, whilst also serving as a key outlet to release their own productions and material. Hot on the heels of Cruz's latest stand-out EP, 'KMA', early-August welcomes the debut split EP offering on the label as both co-founders return alongside one another for the very first time to serve up the twotrack 'Show Me / Five'. 

Eddy M's 'Show Me' opens proceedings with authority as the Barcelona-based DJ and producer combines crisp metallic drum lick atop of driving low-end tones and escalating lead lines to deliver a high-energy opening cut, whilst Cruz's bubbling 'Five' employs trademark hooky vocal samples alongside menacing basslines and icy hats to showcase a rolling cut typical of the ever-impressing Spaniard.
