Hypnotic sounds, melodic journeys around the world and dark but bouncy harmonies are the connecting elements in the musical proposal of Peruvian musician Marco Tegui. In 2009 his electronical music career started, creating a big impact in the South American scene. Later on in 2014, Marco’s sounds arrived to Europe and he established his residency in Berlin. Playing in the best clubs of the city and releasing tracks in the most emblematic labels, Marco had become a part of the international underground Techno scene. Now with more than 14 years of experience, he has been the Label a&r of the iconic Bar 25, Label manager of its sub imprint Sirin Music and founder of his own realization DowntempoLove.

Peruvian musician @marcotegui began his musical journey in 2009, firstly making an impact in South America before graduating to the world stage. He is now based in Ibiza and was previously A&R at Berlin’s iconic Bar25 label as well as managing its sister imprint Sirin Music before starting his own DowntempoLove label. He has a magical live set that combines the same rich harmonies, hypnotic sounds and melodic synths as his productions on labels like Get Physical, Stil For Talent and many more. His new Kindisch Stories album is a rich tapestry of South American melodies, instrumentals and Tegui's own exquisite musicianship. Not that he's new on the scene; Mendel hosts top class nights I Love Vinyl and The Daisy Age in his hometown Amsterdam and he's been digging hard since he made the cross over to more varied sounds from his Hip Hop early days. One need only to listen to any one of the mixes he has up on his soundcloud page to discover the depth of his skills at both digging and spinning. One might argue that Mendel is amongst the next generation of a lineage that runs through Rahaan, Kon & Amir, Rich Medina, Sadar Bahar and even our friend Marcel Vogel.
