This week's guest is Dona Carla from Epic Vinyls From Brazil. 
EVFB is Dona Carla from Rio and Rasmus from Copenhagen. They spend a lot of time digging for rare records and playing DJ sets with amazing and little-known music. They live currently in Copenhagen and have toured festivals and venues throughout Europe, India and Brazil.

For this Brazilian selection, Dona Carla presents some samba delights from 1969 to 1984. A selection of funky songs with all female singers.
This session was recorded at Plukk - the Urban Plant Café in Aarhus, Denmark.

I also hear new stuff that I hadn’t noticed before when I listen to his music - the track with Jack Wilson that opens the mix up is so heavy and cosmic for its time, and I’d forgotten about the track with Wayne Henderson! There are so many great albums out there including the 2 Virgin Ubiquities BBE put out... We could devote a whole week of radio programmes to Roy, his archive is so large… 

He is the key to all things between jazz, soul, disco and hip hop…. Thank you roy for all the music...
