Ria Mares is a DJ and sound producer who crafts deep, immersive audio journeys in the Hypnotic Techno genre. Her signature sound blends high-tech synthesis with a natural aesthetic. Inspired by ethnic motifs, organic tones, and a dark, enveloping atmosphere, she creates a sonic space where organic and technological worlds converge, forming a path where each listener can discover something unique.

The storyline of the mix:
This musical journey begins in the desert — silent and boundless, where nothing exists but sand, mirages, and our cozy shelter from which we can observe the vast beauty of the landscape.

Gradually, we move closer to thick vegetation and wild jungles. Here, the rhythms of tribal dances become clearer and more alive. We pause to connect with the earth and absorb the raw energy of the tribe.

Our path then takes us to a highly developed civilization — where beings invent technology, craft advanced devices, and build ships to explore outer space.
On one of those ships, we travel past asteroids, stars, galaxies, and unknown planets...

Eventually, we land on one of them — a planet with its own unique atmosphere. It is bright, warm, and beautiful. As we glide through its landscapes, we remember that very same cozy place from where we once gazed at the desert — at the very beginning of this sonic voyage.

Düsseldorf-based producer Bruno Bleckmann makes a commanding debut on Greyscale with The Bleck Dubs, a four-track journey that merges the precision of German techno with the emotional depth of classic dub atmospherics. Each track carries its own microcosm of rhythm and resonance, presenting a detailed, architectural approach to sound design. Opening with 'Legacy', Bleckmann establishes his aesthetic immediately. This is a dominant, tightly wound beat while a melodic chords cascade that fall between sweeping pads and crisp percussion. It’s darkly hypnotic and full of movement, like machinery in motion beneath moonlight. 'Q16' follows with a more introspective tone, its eerie bell-like melody and subtle acid undertones lending a melancholic air. The arrangement flows effortlessly, expanding into space without ever losing its pulse. 'Revelation' is perhaps the EP’s most striking moment, built around chiming chords and a rhythmic delay pattern that ripples with almost celestial resonance. It’s spatial dub techno at its most refined: pristine yet organic. Closing track 'Raggah Daggah' introduces a contrasting warmth, mixing aquatic echoes and island-tinged percussion with a deep, growling digital bassline that anchors the piece in a submerged groove. Bleckmann’s debut is high-fidelity dub techno where texture and timing are inseparable. The Bleck Dubs is a fluid and deeply atmospheric exploration and expression.
