An all-star cast compilation, “No Filler Just Killer” crams not one, not two, but four dancefloor bangers competing for peak time supremacy. Fellow recent releasee Benotmane teams up with French house charmer Darlyn Vlys for “Quarantine”, a dive into the deep end of late night techno infused house fueled by the haunting, 80’s synth pop reminiscent vocals. Newcomers Hidden Empire give us a taste of their deeply moving soundscape with “Palmito”, a high strung techno anthem.Veteran Niko Schwind is responsible for the closing track, rounding up the assembly with the darkest and deepest track of the EP.

Eelke Kleijn's original mix of 'De Orde Van De Nacht' continues to remain a massive hit on Beatport. C-U's favourite new wave progressive artist AFFKT gives it the remix treatment, opting to keep some elements of the original percussion, but takes it in a much darker and hypnotic direction.

A huge driving bassline powers this one along nicely aiming this squarely at the dance floor. The perfect balance of sounds in the mix are breathtaking and hauntingly beautiful, just like the original. Another production masterclass from AFFKT, an artist that continues to go from strength to strength this year. Surely 2018 will finally be his year to shine on the global on the global stage?

PREMIERE: Marc Maya - Reflections (Original Mix) [Cr2]

Over the course of the last three plus decades, the German born DJ, musician and composer Marc Romboy has become synonymous with a soulful electronic music sound that has taken him all over the world. As well as releasing on only the most influential labels, from Innervisions to Cocoon and Kompakt to Senso Sounds, he is also the sole mastermind behind the influential Systematic Recordings label and has been since 2004.

Nowadays an album specialist, 2006 saw him release his debut album, the captivating „Gemini" whilst in 2017 Marc released his first listening long player called „Voyage de la planète“, a pure electronica album with classical music influence and later, in summer 2017 the live recording of his collaboration with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra called „Reconstructing Debussy“, in cooperation with Boiler Room hit the stores.

Despite being a key player for so long, Marc is still as relevant as ever and remains right at the sharp end of electronic music. Proof of that comes in the form of his DJ schedule, which takes him from Fabric to Womb and Berghain to Rex, as well as to not one but three separate Boiler Room shows. All three proved Marc to be a dexterous performer who never relies on obviousness or gimmicks, instead telling truly musical stories that place dancers right at the heart of the action.
