Xero is being used on the bass tracks and all the guitar parts.  Bass line is the Smart Harmony Octave down from an M5 feeding a Team Awesome Fuzz Machine into the Xerograph Deluxe 4 pole.  Guitar sounds are using either the TAFM or Source Audio Multiwave Bass Distortion Pro into the Xero with a 2 pole setting.  Also threw a little M5 pattern trem in there.

I was originally a self-taught bassist.  Even to this day I have never had an actual bass lesson from a bass player.  I started playing when I was 13 and gigging professionally on a regular basis when I was 15.  I've done freelance work in genres ranging from  jazz, funk, rock, r&b, hip-hop, blues, and many more.  I currently am a teacher, session musician, family man and work on my own stuff when I get time. I also play in the Pittsburgh-based band, Digital.

I use my Soundcloud page to showcase my original stuff (performed on bass guitar) and my extensive use of effects to achieve synth/experimental tones.  I use effects from companies such as: Iron Ether, CopilotFX, Line 6, Boss, and MarkBass.
