Shambhala 2023

What a special moment. When I went to Building Wo-Man last year, I saw Dirtwire for the first time. The energy they created through playing their various eclectic instruments was incredible - it was fire. It was dragon energy. They transmuted darkness into light. 

This year, Building Wo-man invited me to perform on mainstage and I had an opportunity to channel my inspiration from Dirtwire - I brought my keyboard, sax, bass clarinet, and e-drumset! It was insane! 

I also brought that same intention of transmuting darkness into light. The astrological energies have been pushing us recently to confront truths that we have been ignoring. To confront shadows that we haven't wanted to see. Massive healing shifts are occurring and it has been hard. Personally, my chronic fatigue flared up and I've been struggling with my focus and energy. 

This set embodies the energy of pushing through the darkness in the support of community. Having the opportunity to channel the magic and love of this community was a true honor that I am so grateful for. Thank you!

Bringing in the Light: Building Wo-Man 2024 Sunrise

Hope you enjoy my Imagine One Love inspired set! I was given the amazing opportunity to DJ a set on the Friday! I got a 7 minute heads up that I would be next! I had my USB in my pocket ready to go! 

I had prepared a setlist, but once I got on stage I decided to scrap it! I decided to crate dig and see where we would go on this musical journey! It seems like my history is not pulling up my complete setlist, which is why I call this "One Love inspired". I know there's tracks missing, and I know I added a couple that were not played. Original Fondue

This has to be one of the best sets I’ve ever played! Having the privilege to play on Abraxas, my favorite art car at Burning Man, while the man burned, was one of most epic experiences of my life! I played for almost two hours, on top of the baddest Golden Dragon on the Playa, while we danced and witnessed this spectacular ritual of transformation. Tens of thousands of people would cheer as fireworks and explosions lit up the night sky, whirlwinds of dust and fire would spiral out from the inferno, and waves of heat radiated out, visibly rippling through the air! Thank you to the Abraxas crew for entrusting me with the burn time slot, and for all that you bring to this community! 

This set is a heater for sure, bringing the best of bass with trap and hip hop beats intertwining with eastern melodies and world grooves! I hope you can feel the magic! <3 Naughty Princess
