I was up in Preston, Lancashire, couldn't get to sleep, this song was haunting me, hovering over me in my bed, so I got up, found my guitar and gently wrote this song...it is a song of hope, yearning and the human connection...

In pursuit of truth, we inevitably endure setbacks and shortcomings. Though it’s when we’re in this state of being tested that we enable ourselves to reach our potential. For Marc Todd, he sings to these trials and tribulations of life, as they are ultimately what drives him to create. With an experiential approach that leans into his steadfast observation of humanity, Marc Todd’s brand of Indie Folk is turning heads for its relatability, honesty and deeply emotive musicianship.


Based in Manchester, England, Marc dropped his debut self-titled EP in September 2019, and has put out a couple of singles on Factory Fast Records prior to its release. Marc has been featured on Soho Radio Show, and played a myriad of festival shows over the country. He has supported Jonny Lives! at the Beatrice and Jonna Wang, and fronted the stage at a multitude of venues across London.
