UP ABOVE

Take a city dwelling perspective on acoustic folk, bluegrass, indie rock and jam bands and you get Marcus and the Mountain. Baroque undertones influence the Mountain's melodic sensibility, while a simplified and understated folk tradition drive the harmony and rhythm. A minimalist approach to lyrics and convention bending arrangements are at the core of the Mountain.
