Suspect Raver returns to Filth with his second hard hitting EP - Sydney, named after the roof raising, synth driven anthem which pays homage to two of the local nightclubs.

He then takes on the trance realm with Tranceporter, with the bassline's changes in frequency and resonance leading the listener on a laser light compatible journey.

Lie Low sees a change in rhythm, with the breakbeat tunes galactic synths molding with the unmistakable Opus III sample to deliver a delightful foil to the four on the floor rhythm of its fellow tracks.

Finally, Oxford St closes the album with another trance track, this one evoking the pleasures many generations of Sydney clubbers have felt along the playground that is known as Oxford St.

We jump across the Tay to Newport this week to bring the mighty SEKTOR to the show. This mix has it all - hardcore, electro, industrial sounds and even some donk at the end; SEKTOR delivers what is easily one of the heaviest podcasts we’ve put out so far.

SEKTOR aka Sam MacGillivary is a 20 year old producer and DJ, who is part of the Sláinte crew in Glasgow. His productions, which take inspiration from punk rock, gabber and electro sounds, break the barriers between different genres and allow him to make music fit for industrial raves. If you were at Floor Above’s New Year event at Beat Generator, you’ll know all about SEKTOR’s love for anything fast and heavy. Keep an eye out in future for SEKTOR’s new tunes which will be released soon, alongside some very exciting stuff from Sláinte post-lockdown.

An acclaimed addition to Ireland’s most popular festivals and club lineups - sharing the stage with artists such as Sunil Sharpe, Anetha, Tommy Four Seven, Defekt and Rebekah, along with closing out Suicide Circus in Berlin. 

With a handful of standout releases, including one from our recent compilation, Thomas also has an impressive back catalogue and discography lined up - all of which to be released throughout the course of next year.
