Mid Jan 98, from Kiss 100.. It was the last one in a series of 10 [I only have 7 of them] so he turns the wick up just a little bit more and really goes for it. Just an awesome set, pure Pete Wardman. Tough and chunky and even when the music goes proper hard, there`s more than enough melody and spacey tunes to lighten the mood and give you a chance to catch your breath before the next onslaught. That`s what he does best. Listen to what he does with a random tune and the acapella of Twisted,..awesome,..very tricky, trust me, I`ve tried! And the intro to Snap!,..then it goes really special, really gorgeous tunes,..then `ave some. What a fucking DJ!   Excuse the gaps for the ad breaks, I taped it off the radio at the time,,..who knew? The cover photo is the last ever one I took in Trade in Turnmills, when the lights went up, Pete was playing at the time so I thought it was entirely appropriate. I've not had a great deal of spare time this week. But I do enjoy a Sunday afternoon mix. So I grabbed a selection of tunes I've purchased over the past couple of weeks and smashed out an off-the-cuff mix. 

It was a lot of fun, I didn't know the tunes so it kept me on my toes. It jumps around a bit, but it left me with a feeling that despite what the naysayers say, that hard house is well and truly ALIVE!
