This was my AS composition from last year that got my full marks. First full attempt at using orchestral forces. Hope you enjoy it!

Rise of the Machines

I wrote this on the way back from my interview at Hull. I was talking to another student about composing and how we think of how instruments are work together to make a sound. As I had a 5 hour journey ahead, I decided I would forget this idea. I came up with one simple theme, and then wrote two different piano parts, completely separately, just based on the same theme and in the same key. Then I just put them together and chopped and changed them round and this is what I ended up with. Its a synthesised logik sound so obviously will not be as effective as two live piano's but, hey ho, enjoy it!

This is another duet for piano that i wrote on the way down to Cornwall yesterday. Hope you enjoy it, its bit rough with mixing and stuff but was just a bit of fun really!
