Kora came to us through our friends from Sol Selectas. Always have we admired this persistent soul with such a strong determination and sense of music. As if he can feel the steps he needs to take.
As if he knows what lies ahead.

It's about to get real. Before you the set by none other than Oliver Koletzki. Oliver first appeared in our lives when we bumped into one of his morning sets at Burning Man. 

Blown.
Away.

But that's how these things go..
More than a couple of months later we are bound to meet for the first time when he joins Wild as the Moon to support his protegé and our love Sam Shure. We meet a tall, handsome, some what quirky guy that was locked inside our hearts from the first second.

We can not explain the feeling we had when we booked him for the first time. It was a mixture of pure excitement, happiness and hysterical joy. His set at The Monastery kept us locked at The Monastery stage. 

Enjoy, go back or close your eyes and imagine the beautiful first time Oliver Koletzki shared his music with our crowd.

This weekend is about to start in the best way possible. Before you one of the grand sets performed at The Monastery: Blond:ish at The Dark Side of the Moon. 

We remember this night. As soon as this set finished at The Monastery we crossed our fingers and really really envisioned this one would be released. It was minutes before a wind storm kicked in and we thought our good thoughts had blown away.. But no. Here we are, together at the beginning on of the good ones. 

It's a keeper, this one. Like the two girls that form Blond:ish.

They never stop inspiring us. The tracks they produce repeat themselves thousands of times because we can't get enough, ever. The sets, the hard work, the goals they set for themselves.

We can't and wouldn't want to do this without them

What are the ways to ring in the New year? One way is to sleep through it by falling asleep in one year and waking up in the next. You can even go to sleep on a plane and wake up in an entirely different country altogether. Another option is to go to the village of Baarle - whose territory is divided into a patchwork of Belgian and Dutch territories with some shops and buildings straddling both countries - and welcome the new year in two countries at the same time. You can celebrate the beginning of the year not once, but, say, twice, first in the Swedish town of Karesuando and then in the Finnish village of Karesuvanto just across the bridge: while the two settlements are split by one and the same river, they are nonetheless stuck in different time zones. And last but not least, you can always spend the New Year’s Eve and the the New Year’s Day with your family at home, with your friends at a club, with strangers in a square, and all by yourself in a traffic jam. But all of that is of absolutely no account because no matter how many times and in how many locations you celebrate, you will then have to live the year with all the thoughts you secretly nourished in your head, all the plans you won’t manage to accomplish this year either, and all the dreams that will make the next 365 days better than the last. @madmotormiquel’s set is here to sum up all this. Or not.

This was the last set of my Spring tour and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to finish off my travels. Last minute, I decided to do a downtempo slow jam set, because as soon as I stepped into the club I felt it was very fitting of the atmosphere.
I’ve been extremely lucky to play in some amazing places, but Kater Blau holds a very special place in my heart. 
The crowd is very receptive – they are there for their love for music, interacting with one another, and having a great time. There are so many smiles, cheers, and a feeling of togetherness amongst everyone in the room. The energy allows for many good ideas to manifest right there and then behind the decks. A lot of my DJing education comes from the days and nights spent there. So for that, I feel very honored that I get invited to play there time and time again.

It's a beautiful Friday morning even though the weather in Amsterdam is grey and gloomy. One the day before we find each other for the season closing of Wild as the Moon at De Marktkantine, we look back at one of the best performances at our lunar show this year: Islandman. Needless to say that we will present this trio from Turkey at our beloved festival The Monastery.

Live acts, band performances, musicians, we have seen and adored many. But Islandman is unique in its form. It's a beautiful collaboration of three musicians that brings you two hours of pure bliss.

Here is the Set that i played at Fusion Festival on the Bachstelzenfloor this year. It is a quite different set from the last one. I played almost exclusively with short loops and not whole tracks, that way i sometimes would like a few more arms and hands to play, but am also able to be absolutely in the moment and create music that is exactly for that moment and those people in front of me. Playing Live is a huge challenge, but i am looking forward to keep developing and creating. 
Thanks for all the dancers and their vibes who made this what it is.

Heilige Makrele, vier Tage verschwurbelten wir die Zeit mit euch auf unserem @Lafaricologne Floor auf dem Katzensprung Festival. 
Der absolute Wahnsinn was für ein Flow und Vibe herrschte. 
Als dann am Samstag bei meiner Playtime um 17:00 Uhr die Sonne so schön schien, blieb mir gar keine andere Wahl, noch mehr Disco und House zu spielen und dazwischen wie immer HITS HITS HITS.
Von 105 auf 125 bpm, 1,2,3 Gude Laune, so nämlich!

At the beginning of our "Kopfüber Chaossell" Open Air Olivia mixed some downbeat tunes together while Fuchur, his sampler & a mic filling Live-loop elements & vocals to it.

Happy we recorded it to present the very first Set ever from her.
