Recorded waaay back in 2008. The whole track is a "feely" improvisation of a classic E-G-D-A progression. All acoustic.

Truckerspeed Blues in E (Live @ The Imaginary Pub)

One of my favorite movies of all time is Terrence Malick's "The Thin Red Line" from 1998. In it, hidden beneath Hans Zimmer's dark atmospheric soundtrack was a beautiful choral chant from the Melanesian Islands. The title of the track was "Jisas Yu Holem Hand Blong Mi" (which roughly translates to "Jesus, Hold My Hand") and I fell in love with it. 

Years later, I saw the trailer for the movie and heard Zimmer's amazing orchestral version of it and decided I wanted to transcribe it to the guitar. 

It follows a pretty easy progression in which I'm playing with a capo on the third fret. The chords are (in no relation to capo): C-G-F-G and in the chorus: Am-F-G. You can easily figure out the vocal parts of the song by playing this.

A soulful dedication from a wonderful instrument to an even more wonderful one: The human voice.

Melanesian Life (Acoustic Guitar Version)

A short but dramatic arpeggio progression in the classic key of C with the guitar tuned down half a step, for that cinematic and haunting sound.
