I stumbled through the shadows, unsure and unaware,
My steps were soft and faltering, my heart a quiet prayer.
But You, O Lord, were watching, with grace beyond my need,
You caught me in my weakness, and planted holy seed.

Sunrise

Time conquers all 
Time is a madman
a starving leech 
sucking hours 
from your days and nights
draining your youth 
your adulthood 
your middle age
and your senior moments
Time tugs at your soul, 
like a thirsty toddler
 wanting more
pulling on your shirt. 
Always urging you 
forward to the 
next moment, 
lest the past 
catches up to you.
and the older you get
the faster time steals
what you have left
time is merciless
you can never go back
and your present 
as you read this
is already gone
just part of the past
your heart is just 
a stopwatch waiting 
for that final tick
and there is no 
where to run
and no winners 
at times's finish 
line for you
all you can try to do 
is slow down
and take it easy
and ignore time
but he always gets
the last laugh
so many folks 
that I knew
when I was a child
adults who influenced my life
are all gone
lost to time
removed under 
sterile conditions
boxed up and buried
and it seems like only
yesterday that they 
were still here
but it was decades ago

Time is the engineer 
of a massive train, 
holding billions of souls, 
and moving 
across the tracks
of what has already 
been laid out for them.

He must always be 
clearing the way 
for new souls to be 
linked to life's continuum

He is merciless 
in his endeavors,
we simply follow his lead,
longing for places 
that have slipped by,
wishing we could 
have stayed awhile longer
in what is rushing past us, 
ever rolling onward,
thus I end this poem,
while time allows even 
this period granted me

Love of my life

warum schmeißt man das hin?

Is There You

without drama

Oh, fragile Earth ever since my birth.
you have brought me all that I need
and so much mirth but now you are
in dire straits and it's long past time
that we should wait to correct
what's killing you.......

We all have a
fragile crystal ball
assigned to our care
that holds all of our
tomorrows untold
its wonders for centuries
have been extolled
but as caretakers
we’ve lost control
of this beautiful blue
and white orb
massive in size
and yet it’s filled
with toxins
it’s clarity grown cloudy
with Hydrocarbons
all of it’s resources
auctioned off to
the highest bidders
and we are almost
out of options
like lazy possums
we have slept through
It’s escalating problems
and all the naysayer’s
mock the few crusaders
trying to save the
earth from danger
because those naysayer
are the players
who pay the Earth’s betrayers
lobbyist all granting favors
politicians who all savor
corporate cash, Ignoring nature
passing laws to aid the slayers
of this planet that we cherish
this precious palnet we all cherish
each one knowing
we might perish
but we as the caregivers
live with toxins in
our lungs and livers
watching the dying of
Earth’s critters
as our world sinks
in the shitter of pollution
are we long past restitution?
re-voting those in who deliver
poisons that cause all hearts to quiverr
as our air grows frail and thinner...
and thinner...and thinner
It’s long past time for revolution
we must demand their prosecution
for the murder of our planet
that we all just took for granite
granite that someday might be
tombstones over you and me

While our children laugh and play
all across its poisoned surface
each of them must be what spurs us
to remove those whose disservice
has cost our grandchildren dearly
cause our Earth its dying yearly
the time is now…. the answers clearly
time to change the status Quo
all those who poison have to "Go!"

We The People have grown weary
we will all act quite severely
if immediate changes fail to be
enacted now…immediately
or all of earths humanity
will rise up strong from sea to sea
to save our children and
our children’s children
from your cruel greed
we will fix earth’s needs
and if we have no other course
"WE WILL USE FORCE

Ich schreibe gerne was ich denke, fühle und erlebe. Das Schreiben hilft mir, Erlebnisse einzuordnen und zu verarbeiten. 
Gefühlen eine Melodie zu geben ist etwas wunderbares. So kann ich Erinnerungen verewigen. 
Schreiben bringt Klarheit. Die Melodie dazu transportiert die Botschaft ins Herz.
Es ist ein bisschen Selbsttherapie
In erster Linie tue ich es um einen Ausgleich zu haben, also für mich selbst.
Die Texte sind direkt und frisch aus dem Herzen. Wenn ich aber jemand erreiche, der genauso fühlt wie ich, und damit jemanden berühre, freut es mich umso mehr.

Da ich nicht gut singen kann und sonst auch nicht der musikalischste bin, nutze ich eine KI für die Melodie.
