Believe it or not, this was the first song that defined the 'Auvic Style' that is familiar to this day... you know, with the stupid lead and the chords and all. I had never done anything like that prior to this.

Just a track in B Minor. I played a crap-ton of Phoenix (the arcade game) and was inspired to write this, I even tried recreating a sound effect from the game but failed miserably. Oh well. :)

I'm participating in the VGM Academy 21-Day Composition Challenge! I am using the prompts from Inktober as well, and checking off the quests from the VGM Quest log.

Today is Day 2, and the theme is MINDLESS. I checked off Make It Modulate in the quest log from VGMA.  My inspiration for this piece was to make an exploratory sound somewhere between Metroid and Dead Space. I landed on some chords that arpeggiated well and had a sort of alien feel to them, and went from there.
