Named after the Vietnam war boat and crew from 'Apocalypse Now', the duo made up of Bonar Bradberry and Tom Thorpe, have released on a wealth of notable imprints including 2020 Vision, Hot Creations, Wolf Music, Throne Of Blood and of course Futureboogie with their 'Double Boogie' EP.

Both DJs respectively are technically sound selectors and their style of bumping, groovy and funky house and disco music has secured them spots at clubs and festivals the world over. This summer they play at The Garden Festival, the tranquil house-haven located in Croatia. The festival has been praised for it's spot-on programming and luscious setting, one that should suit PBR's style nicely.

For this In Session, PBR Streetgang have turned in an hour of the primmest house and disco cuts, floating between thick basslines and infinite grooves. Check this out immediately.

This month we have something very special from Chris Fortier, who has genuinely embraced the concept of Just Add Sunshine and gone to a huge effort to produce this stunning set, featuring his own mash-ups and re-edits exclusive to this mix. We'll let you have fun track spotting before posting the full tracklist, but tracks have been carefully sourced from personal favourites from the past 25 years, with artists like 808 State, Leftfield, Bomb The Bass, The Orb, System 7 and The KLF.

Since the early 90s, Chris has been at the forefront of the US club scene, championing progressive house and paving the way for international DJs such as Sasha & Digweed, the later signing Chris up for Bedrock duties as part of the Compiled & Mixed series. Following this Chris, was one of the first names to join the mightily popular Balance mix series, providing 007.
His production skills cannot go unmentioned, his classic track 'Losing Wait' is way up there in the list of my all time favourites and with his own label Fade Records (http://www.beatport.com/label/fade-records/179), Chris continues to produce the goods. Another true prog legend to join the Just Add Sunshine party!

As a kid from the UK growing up in 1980s Manchester, I was privileged to live through the Factory records era and enjoy the booming music scene as It reshaped the city's image from 'dirty old town' to the global mecca of nightlife and creativity it is today.
While the warehouse and club scene was beginning to bubble away, I spent my early teens listening to mixtapes from the likes of Sasha (who began his career down the road and has curated the soundtrack of my life ever since), the DJs of the Thunderdome and Hippos (Jay and Moggy) and the legendary 808 State Show - at the age of 16 I was invited down to the Sunset studios to play a live  guest mix on the show and was booked to play my first club gig in the city, warming up at Parliament Nightclub.
I spent many years clubbing and DJing around Manchester and the City Centre, developing my DJ style taking influence from the DJs of the Hacienda, Bugged Out and Tangled and became hooked on the Progressive House scene led by Sasha, Digweed, Renaissance, Cream and the Global Underground mix series.
After a summer DJing in Cyprus in 1999, I returned to Manchester and held several residencies in bars and clubs around the City; Dry Bar, Joshua Brooks, South, the wonderful sweatbox where I'd spent my twenties bouncing, Tangled and more recently Soundcontrol.
I've been lucky to DJ with many of my idols such as Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff, Hybrid, Ashley Casselle.
30+ years on, now living in Cairns, Australia, I'm still hunting new sounds to share with anyone who will listen to this veteran of the bedroom DJ scene.
